Plants are the producers — they use the sun's energy to convert water and carbon dioxide into plant material via photosynthesis. ... A producer is a living thing that makes its own food from sunlight, air, and soil. Green plants are producers who make food in their leaves.

I’d say it’s a producer because it’s a plant

Am i correct so far on the first question? And how do i convert to molecules... I use avogadro's number, right?
Talja [164]
I'm pretty sure that you multiply the number of moles by avogadro's number (6.02x10^23)... you may want to check.

How many single covalent bonds could an element with the electron
Tcecarenko [31]

Answer:

1

Explanation:

I would say 1 because that configuration has 7 valence electrons.  The goal of the atom is to gain a full octet so it just needs to gain 1 more electron to get the full octet.  To get the one electron to fill the valence shell it would only need to have 1 covalent bond.

I hope this helps.  Let me know if anything is unclear.

for the final step of the copper cycle, zinc, Zn(s), is added to copper sulfate, CuSO4(aq). Elemental copper appears as a solid.
AleksAgata [21]

Elemental zinc displaces the copper

Explanation:

In this reaction the zinc added to the copper sulfate solution has displaced the copper in the compound.

This is a single displacement reaction.

                      Zn + CuSO₄     →   ZnSO₄    +  Cu

This is the reaction of the recycling process.

The reaction is driving by the positions of the elements in the reactivity series of metal.

  • In a single displacement reaction, an atom higher up in the activity series displaces another that is lower.
  • Zinc is higher that copper in the activity series and it reacts with the sulfate.
  • It will then push the copper out as the solid product in the solution.
  • Elements higher up in the series are more reactive
