The tenth place is the one just to the right of the 0.  This means that we have to look at the hundreths place which is 2 places to the right of the 0.  If the number is  greater than or equal to 5 then we round  up.  The number in the hundreths place is 7, which is above 5 we round the tenths place up to 8.

This would make your answer 100.8

HURRY INVERSE OF A FUCTION

Here is how we get the answer....
First, replace f(x) with y . ...
Replace every x with a y and replace every y with an x .
Solve the equation from Step 2 for y . ...
Replace y with f−1(x) f − 1 ( x ) . ...
Verify your work by checking that (f∘f−1)(x)=x ( f ∘ f − 1 ) ( x ) = x and (f−1∘f)(x)=x ( f − 1 ∘ f ) ( x ) = x are both true.

For the graphed function f(x) = (4)x − 1 + 2, calculate the average rate of change from x = 1 to x = 2.
xz_007 [3.2K]
For the function
  f(x) = 4^(x-1) +2
the average rate of change on the interval [1, 2] is found by computing
  (f(2) - f(1))/(2 - 1)
  = ((4^1+2) - (4^0+2)/1
  = (6-3)
  = 3
