Complete Question

The complete question is shown on the first uploaded image

Answer:

The value is |v| = 6.93

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

    The initial point is (x_1 , y_1 , z_1 ) = (-1 , 7 , 4 )

    The  terminal point is  (x_2 , y_2 , z_2) = (-5 , 11, 8 )

Generally the magnitude of the vector is mathematically represented as

     |v| = \sqrt{(x_2 -x_1 )^2 + (y_2 - y_1 )^2 + (z_2 -z_1)^2}

=>   |v| = \sqrt{(-5 -(-1) )^2 + (11 - 7 )^2 + (8 -4)^2}

=>   |v| = 6.93

Jason makes a graphic organizer for insulators and conductors and wants to add the following labels to it.
MA_775_DIABLO [31]

Answer: C) Label 1: X

Label 2: Z

Explanation: Conductors are those substances which conduct electrical current easily because of the presence of free electrons whereas Insulators do not conduct electrical current as they do not contain free electrons. Some common  examples of conductors are copper, aluminum, gold, and silver. Some common examples of insulators are glass, air, plastic, rubber, and wood.

Label 1: Lacks free electrons  must be placed in the area marked X as they correspond to insulators.

Label 2: Aluminum is an example of conductor and thus must be labelled in area marked by Z.

Area Y corresponds to semiconductors which have properties intermediate to conductors and insulators.

In order to move a bag of dog food across a 10 meter room you apply20 Newton’s of force how much work was done?
lilavasa [31]
The work done is calculated by multiplying the Force by the distance. So, 10x20 = 200 joules.

You found the distance that you will cover while braking. You can use the expected amount of time for braking to check your answ
katrin [286]

Answer:

Explanation:

First we need to determine the distance covered during deceleration. According to the equation of motion.

S = ut+1/2at²

Given:

u = 20m/s

t = 0.50s

a = -10m/s (deceleration is negative acceleration)

S = 20²+1/2(-10)(0.5)²

S = 400-5(0.5)²

S = 400-5(0.25)

S = 400-1.25

S = 398.75m

If the deer steps onto the road 35m in front of you, the distance between you and the deer when you come to a stop will be 398.75-35 = 363.75m
