Answer:

1. It flies because of four forces. These same four forces help an airplane fly. The four forces are lift, thrust, drag, and weight. As a Frisbee flies through the air, lift holds it up

2. lift

In order for an aircraft to rise into the air, a force must be created that equals or exceeds the force of gravity. This force is called lift. In heavier-than-air craft, lift is created by the flow of air over an airfoil. The shape of an airfoil causes air to flow faster on top than on bottom.

3. Gravity and drag (air resistance, which is friction caused by air rubbing against the plane) try to pull the plane down and slow its speed. A plane must be built so that lift and thrust are stronger than the pull of gravity and drag by just the right amount.

4. If lift becomes greater than weight, then the plane will accelerate upward. If the weight is greater than the lift, then the plane will accelerate downward. When the thrust becomes greater than the drag, the plane will accelerate forward.

5.The 4 Forces of Flight. In level flight, lift equals weight and thrust equals drag when the plane flies at constant velocity. Maintaining a steady flight requires a balance, often described as an equilibrium of all the forces acting upon an airplane.

What is the final volume?
zaharov [31]

Answer:

Option A. 9.4 L

Explanation:

From the question given above, the following data were obtained:

Initial volume (V₁) = 8 L

Initial temperature (T₁) = 293 K

Final temperature (T₂) = 343 K

Final volume (V₂) =?

V₁ / T₁ = V₂ / T₂

8 / 293 = V₂ / 343

Cross multiply

293 × V₂ = 8 × 343

293 × V₂ = 2744

Divide both side by 293

V₂ = 2744 / 293

V₂ = 9.4 L

Therefore, the final volume of the gas is 9.4 L

You are dating Moon rocks based on their proportions of uranium-238 (half-life of about 4.5 billion years) and its ultimate deca
Aliun [14]
1. Use the formula:

-kt = ln[\frac{FinalAmount}{InitialAmount}]

k = ln2 / half-life

So, t = - \frac{4.5}{ln2} \times ln[\frac{0.55}{1}]

t =  3.8 billion yr

2.  Same formula:

t = - \frac{4.5}{ln2} \times ln[\frac{0.63}{1}]

t = 2.93 billion yr.
