Independent variable means the variable that you will change, so your experiment is a kid eat breakfast then do math, and a kid doesn't eat breakfast, then do math. so what you changed is A, breakfast.

Answer: A. breakfast

Explanation:

An independent variable is the one which can be altered in an experiment manually. Such changes can be observed on the dependent variable, which cannot be changed by self manipulations instead change with the changes occurring in independent variable. The dependent variable is useful for framing the result of the experiment.

According to the given situation, the breakfast is the independent variable as in the study it is to determine the effect of eating the breakfast have on the concentration on math assignment which is the dependent variable of the experiment.

Increasing the concentration of greenhouse gases in Earth's atmosphere decreases the transparency of the atmosphere to infrared
kondaur [170]

Answer:

Decreases the transparency of the atmosphere to infrared light.

Explanation:

When a large amount of green-house gases are present in the atmosphere, the layer of these gases become opaque to infrared radiation and radiation from the sun get trapped into these gases molecules. These excited molecules radiate this energy into our own atmosphere and that why the temperature of Earth is rising due to the Green-House effect.

A horizontal force in used to pull a 5 kilogram cart at a constant speed of 5 meters per second across the floor as shown in the
ddd [48]

A cart is pulled by horizontal force such that it moves with constant velocity

So here since velocity is constant we can say that its acceleration will be ZERO

now here for zero acceleration we can say

F_{net} = 0

So here we will have

F_{net} = F_{ap} - F_f = 0

here we know that

F_f = 10 N

so we will have

F_{ap} - 10 = 0

F_{ap} = 10 N

so here applied force on handle will be

b. 10 N
