A man pushes a 35.2 kg box across a frictionless floor with a force of 128 N. What is the acceleration of the box
vodka [1.7K]
The formula for Force is F = MA, or Force is equivalent to the product of Mass and Acceleration.

F = 128N.
M = 35.2kg.

128 = 35.2A
Divide both sides by 35.2 to solve for the acceleration.
A = ~3.636

The acceleration is 3.636 m/s^2.

I hope this helps!

A large sheet of charge has a uniform charge density of 9  μCm2. What is the electric field due to this charge at a point just
Alex73 [517]

Answer:

Explanation:

Surface charge density, σ = 9 μC/m² = 9 x 10^-6 C/m²

According to the Gauss theorem,

Electric field due to the sheet is given by

E = \frac {\sigma }{2\epsilon _{0}}

E = \frac{9\times 10^{-6}}{2\times 8.854\times 10^{-12}}

E = 5.08 x 10^5 N/C

PLEASE HELPPPPPPPP
LUCKY_DIMON [66]
I think this is AWESOME, but I think the last sentence of your conclusion is a bit off. <span> "If someone has an allergy to oil then they can still eat cake because applesauce makes an amazing substitute for oil." I think that you should say "This recipe is great for those who cannot eat/drink oil, the applesauce is an amazing substitute for oil."

I hope I helped! -Wajiha</span>

1.      A rocket is forced forward by the ______ force of its engines, expelling gases out the rear of the rocket.
AURORKA [14]

There are two forces acting on a rocket at the moment of lift off: Thrust pushes the rocket upwards by pushing gases downwards in the opposite direction.Weight is the force due to gravity pulling the rocket downwards towards the centre of the earth.So I'm thinking the answer is THRUST.
