Answer: The change in time for the first quarter is 1.39 seconds.

The change in time for the second quarter is 0.78 seconds.

The change in time for the third quarter is 0.64 seconds.

The change in time for the fourth quarter is 0.54 seconds.

Explanation: took info from my data and completed lab

Step 5: Measure the Speed of the Toy Car on the Higher Track

Calculate the change in time for each quarter of the track. Record the change in time in Table E of your Student Guide.

Also added the other calculations -

Calculate the average time the car took to reach each checkpoint. Record the average time in Table D of your Student Guide.

The average time to the first quarter checkpoint is 1.39 seconds.

The average time to the second quarter checkpoint is 2.18 seconds.

The average time to the third quarter checkpoint is 2.82 seconds.

The average time to the finish line is 3.36 seconds.

Calculate the speed of the car at each checkpoint by dividing the distance between each checkpoint, in meters, by the change in time. Record your answers in Table E of your Student Guide.

The speed at the first quarter checkpoint is 1.09 m/s.

The speed at the second quarter checkpoint is 1.95 m/s.

The speed at the third quarter checkpoint is 2.37 m/s.

The speed at the finish line is 2.80 m/s.

The city council of a small town wanted to add fluoride to their water so that all the residents would have healthier teeth. The
azamat

Answer:NaF is ionic. NF3 is covalent. SiF4 is ionic. CaF2 is Ionic and NH4F is also ionic. Ionic compounds transfer electrons whereas covalent compounds share electrons hence the word "co". Also, ionic compounds are formed with metal and nonmetal. Where a covalent is with 2 nonmetals. Only ionic compounds would produce fluoride in water because ionic compounds can dissolve in water and covalent compounds cant.

g If a small amount of a strong acid is added to a buffer made up of a weak acid, HA, and the sodium salt of its conjugate base,
ikadub [295]

Answer:

Explanation is in the answer

Explanation:

The pH of the buffer solution does not change appreciably because the strong acid (free H⁺) reacts with conjugate base of buffer producing more weak acid. pH formula of buffers is (Henderson-Hasselbalch formula):

pH = pKa + log ( [A⁻] / [HA] )

The addition of strong acid decreases [A⁻] increasing [HA]. pH change just in the log of the ratio of [A⁻] with [HA], that is a real little effect over pH of the buffer solution.
