Answer:

C) time and date

Explanation:

Celestial event is an astronomical phenomenon. This involves the conjunction of one or more celestial objects such as lunar and solar eclipse or meteor shower. The intersecting horizontal and vertical lines allow the astrologists to determine the time and date of the celestial event.

An archer, about to shoot an arrow, is applying a force of +280 N to a drawn bow string. The bow behaves like an ideal spring wh
ki77a [65]

Answer:

+0.52m

Explanation:

The force applied by the archer is directly proportional to the displacement of the bow string provided the elastic limit of the string is not exceeded.

                                        F_{applied} = kx

k = string constant

x = string extension

                              x = \frac{F_{applied} }{k}

                              x = \frac{+280N} }{540N/m}

                              x = \frac{F_{applied} }{k}

                                      x = +0.5185m

                                      x = +0.52m

The displacement of the bow string is +0.52m

A system is a group of objects that’s analyzed as one unit. Consider a car moving along a road that has a flat section and a hil
vladimir1956 [14]

Answer:

a) Em= K +U,  b) Em= K

Explanation:

The system in this case is formed by the mobilizes and the hill.

Let's write the expressions correctly and completely.

a) When the car moves in the path, the mechanical energy is the siua of the kinetic energy of the car and the potential energy of the car when going up the hill.

              Em = K + U

be) when the car moves in the flat part all the mechanical energy is formed by its kinetic energy that is calculated with the mass and speed of the car

             Em = K

c) When the car goes up the hill the energy the mechanical energy is conserved, but part of the kinetic energy is transformed into potential energy.

If a voltmeter has a less than ideal resistance, say 1 MΩ, and is used to measure the voltage across a resistor of a comparable
Naddik [55]

Answer:

As the difference between the resistance of voltmeter and the resistance being measured gets reduced the error in the reading of the voltmeter gets increased.

Explanation:

An ideal voltmeter has infinite parallel resistance and because of this it doesn't draw any current from the circuit of measurement which means it will measure the exact voltage across the elements.

But practically speaking, a real voltmeter doesn't has infinite resistance therefore, all the practical voltmeters face loading effect to some extent.

As the difference between the resistance of voltmeter and the resistance being measured gets reduced the error in the reading of the voltmeter gets increased. This is why we want to have a greater value of voltmeter resistance, ideally infinite so that the corresponding error is minimized.

Lets consider the given scenario,

A voltmeter has 1 MΩ parallel resistance and the resistance of of measuring element is 500 kΩ or 0.5 MΩ

lets suppose the supplied voltage is 1 V.

First lets assume that the voltmeter is ideal and it has infinite resistance, so in this case voltmeter will measure a voltage of 1 V across the 0.5 MΩ resistor.

Now consider the loading effect, when we connect the voltmeter across the 0.5 MΩ resistor they both become parallel so the resistance is

R = (1*0.5)/(1+0.5)

R = 0.33 MΩ

As you can see the voltmeter will see a reduced resistance and the corresponding voltage also reduces because resistance and voltage are directly proportional.

Therefore, it is preferred to have a very high parallel resistance of the voltmeter.

What is the effective (rms) current value for an ac current with an amplitude of 10 a?
adelina 88 [10]
The relationship between peak voltage and root mean square voltage for a symmetrical sine wave is:

rms value = peak value / √2

Using this formula

I(rms) = I(peak) / √2
I(rms) = 10 / √2

The effective or rms value of the current is 7.07 A

What does it mean when the mark on the ramrod disappears into the barrel of the muzzleloader?
bagirrra123 [75]

The firearm is unloaded.

The ramrod establishes whether the firearm is loaded or unloaded. It thrusts the bullet down the barrel. It is marked by wrapping some tape around it ( at the muzzle end ). This is to effectively signal if the muzzleloader is empty or loaded.
