A liquid is a phase of a substance that is characterized by being flowing and has no shape. The molecules of this substance are far apart but much closer than the particles in a gas. Plasma is a state of a substance that consists of ionized gas. So, it in the phase of a gas and has a charge. We can therefore distinguish the two by checking which substance has a charge.

What is the number N0 of 99mTc atoms that must be present to have an activity of 15mCi?
svetoff [14.1K]
Base on my research, within 2 hours you have a number of atoms which remain.
N= N0*2^(-t/6.020 = N= N0*2^-0.33223= 07943 N0

So, the number of atoms that are being disintegrated is N0-N=N0*(1-0.79430)=0.2057 N0

It must be equal to 15 mCi = 15*3.7*10^7= 5.55*10^8 atoms

N0= 5.55*10*8/0.2057 = 2.698*10^9 atoms

Therefore, 2.698*10^9 atoms is the number of N0

A student made the claim that a 4 gram paintball fired from a paintball gun at 90 m/s could have about the same kinetic energy a
Fiesta28 [93]

Answer:

I do agree with the student. Because imagene you have a tissue and a stick. And you throw them at the same speed , the stick will go farther because it' s heavier but the tissue would just blow around and not go forward because it is not heavy enought.

if you dropped a ball while standing on the surface of mars at what rate would it accelerate toward the ground
Inessa05 [86]
First of all you need to have in mind the following data:
Mass of Mars: 6.43 x 10^23 kg
Radius of Mars: 3.40 x 10^6 m
Formulas: F = G(m1)(m2)/(r^2), m1 = F(r^2)/G(m2), m2 = F(r^2)/G(m1), F = ma G = 6.67 x 10^-11
We can say that the first and second objects with mass can be called as following:
m1= centre of Mars
m2 = will be the ball.
The distance between them = the radious of mars.
