Answer:

Actual COP = 5.368

Maximum theoretical COP = 6.368

Explanation:

Given - An ideal vapor compression refrigeration cycle operates with a condenser pressure of 900 kPa. The temperature at the inlet to the compressor is -5oC.

To find -  If this device operates using R134a as the working fluid. Calculate the actual COP of this device as well as the maximum theoretical COP.

Proof -

Given that,

An ideal vapor compression refrigeration cycle operates with a condenser pressure of 900 kPa.

From Refrigerant 134-a Table

At T1 = -5°C

h1 = 247.505 KJ/kg

S1 = 0.93434 KJ/kg

At P2 = 900 KPa

S1 = S2

h2 = 274.679 Kj/Kg

h3 = h4 = 101.61 KJ/g

So,

Compressor work (Wc) = h2 - h1

                                       = 274.679 - 247.505

                                       = 27.174

⇒Compressor work (Wc) = 27.174 KJ/kg

Now,

Heat out (Qout) = h2 - h3

                          = 274.679 - 101.61

                          = 173.069

⇒Heat out (Qout) = 173.069 KJ/kg

Now,

Heat input (Qin) = h1 - h4

                          = 274.505 - 101.61

                          = 145.895

⇒Heat input (Qin) = 145.895 KJ/kg

So,

Actual COP at the refrigerator is -

(COP)R = (Qin)/(Wc)

            = (145.895)/ (27.174)

            = 5.368

⇒Actual COP = 5.368

Now,

Maximum theoretical COP is -

(COP) = (Qout)/(Wc)

          = (173.069)/ (27.174)

          = 6.368

⇒Maximum theoretical COP = 6.368

The recommendation to segregate FLTs and the workers are as follows:-1)Reputation of warehouse:- To be in the market the reputation of warehouse should be good,it can only happen when the worker of that warehouse is happy with the management looks after worker external and internal affairs. There should be two pathways one for vehicle and other for walking in which both can’t use vice versa.2)High Profitability:- When there is no incident or accident happens between the FLTs and the workers in the warehouse then off course the worker will be regular at work then there will be high profit .3)Insurance premium:- If there is zero accident happens in the ware house then there will no claim, the company will be in the profit..

If you are interested only in the temperature range of 20° to 40°C and the ADC has a 0 to 3V input range, design a signal condit
mario62 [17]

Explanation:

Temperature range → 0 to 80'c

respective voltage output → 0.2v to 0.5v

required temperature range 20'c to 40'c

Where T = 20'c respective voltage

\begin{aligned}v_{20} &=0.2+\frac{0.5-0.8}{80} \times 20 \\&=0.2+\frac{0.3}{80} \times 20 \\V_{20} &=0.275 v\end{aligned}

\begin{aligned}\text { when } T=40^{\circ} C & \text { . } \\v_{40} &=0.2+\frac{0.5-0.2}{80} \times 40 \\&=0.35 V\end{aligned}

Therefore, Sensor output changes from 0.275v to 0.35volts for the ADC the required i/p should cover the dynamic range of ADC (ie - 0v to 3v)

so we have to design a circuit which transfers input voltage 0.275volts - 0.35v to 0 - 3v

Therefore, the formula for the circuit will be

\begin{array}{l}v_{0}=\left(v_{i n}-0.275\right) G \\\sigma=\ldots \frac{3-0}{0.35-0.275}=3 / 0.075=40 \\v_{0}=\left(v_{i n}-0.275\right) 40\end{array}

The simplest circuit will be a op-amp

NOTE: Refer the figure attached

Vs is sensor output

Vr is the reference volt, Vr = 0.275v

\begin{aligned}v_{0}=& v_{s}-v_{v}\left(1+\frac{R_{2}}{R_{1}}\right) \\\Rightarrow & \frac{1+\frac{R_{2}}{R_{1}}}{2}=40 \\& \frac{R_{2}}{R_{1}}=39 \quad \Rightarrow\end{aligned}

choose R2, R1 such that it will maintain required  ratio

The output Vo can be connected to voltage buffer if you required better isolation.

The current entering the positive terminal of a device is i(t)= 6e^-2t mA and the voltage across the device is v(t)= 10di/dtV.
liberstina [14]

Answer:

a) 2,945 mC

b) P(t) = -720*e^(-4t) uW

c) -180 uJ

Explanation:

Given:

                           i (t) = 6*e^(-2*t)

                           v (t) = 10*di / dt

Find:

( a) Find the charge delivered to the device between t=0 and t=2 s.

( b) Calculate the power absorbed.

( c) Determine the energy absorbed in 3 s.

Solution:

-  The amount of charge Q delivered can be determined by:

                                       dQ = i(t) . dt

                  Q = \int\limits^2_0 {i(t)} \, dt = \int\limits^2_0 {6*e^(-2t)} \, dt = 6*\int\limits^2_0 {e^(-2t)} \, dt

- Integrate and evaluate the on the interval:

                   = 6 * (-0.5)*e^-2t = - 3*( 1 / e^4 - 1) = 2.945 C

- The power can be calculated by using v(t) and i(t) as follows:

                 v(t) = 10* di / dt = 10*d(6*e^(-2*t)) /dt

                 v(t) = 10*(-12*e^(-2*t)) = -120*e^-2*t mV

                 P(t) = v(t)*i(t) = (-120*e^-2*t) * 6*e^(-2*t)

                 P(t) = -720*e^(-4t) uW

- The amount of energy W absorbed can be evaluated using P(t) as follows:

                 W = \int\limits^3_0 {P(t)} \, dt = \int\limits^2_0 {-720*e^(-4t)} \, dt = -720*\int\limits^2_0 {e^(-4t)} \, dt

- Integrate and evaluate the on the interval:

                  W = -180*e^-4t = - 180*( 1 / e^12 - 1) = -180uJ
