Answer: 1.089\times 10^5\ A

Explanation:

Given

Charge discharged Q=9.7\C

time taken t=8.9\times 10^{-5}\ s

Current is given as rate of change of discharge i.e.

\Rightarrow I=\dfrac{Q}{t}\\\\\Rightarrow I=\dfrac{9.7}{8.9\times 10^{-5}}\\\\\Rightarrow I=1.089\times 10^5\ A

Therefore, the average current is 1.089\times 10^5\ A

Which has the larger kinetic energy, a 10 g bullet fired at 400 m/s or a 80 kg bowling ball rolled at 6.5 m/s ?
mixer [17]
Formulae for Kinetic energy is:
Kinetic Energy= 1/2xmassx(velocity)^2

For comparison we need to have same units,thus we convert 10g into Kg.
10g/1000=0.01Kg

Input the value of bullet in the formulae;
Kinetic Energy= 1/2x0.01kgx(400)^2
K.E=800J

Input value of the ball:
Kinetic Energy=1/2x80kgx(6.5)^2
K.E=1690J

Which means that th Energy of the ball is more than the bullet.

A bowling ball is dropped off the top of the Eiffel Tower. If the Eiffel Tower is 300 meters
patriot [66]

Answer:

7.82 s

Explanation:

Given:

Δy = 300 m

v₀ = 0 m/s

a = 9.8 m/s²

Find: t

Δy = v₀ t + ½ at²

(300 m) = (0 m/s) t + ½ (9.8 m/s²) t²

t = 7.82 s

Which best summarizes a concept related to the work-energy theorem?
Maurinko [17]

Answer:

When work is positive, the environment does work on an object.

Explanation:

According to the work-energy theorem, the net work done by the forces on a body or an object is equal to the change produced in the kinetic energy of the body or an object.

The concept that summarizes a concept related to the work-energy theorem is that ''When work is positive, the environment does work on an object.''

What are the rules for setting up an integral of rotation?
Angelina_Jolie [31]

Setting up an integral of rotation is used as a method of of calculating the volume of a 3D object formed by a rotated area of a 2D space. Finding the volume is similar to finding the area, but there is one additional component of rotating the area around a line of symmetry.

<span>First the solid of revolution should be defined. The general  function is y=f(x), on an interval [a,b].</span>

Then the curve is rotated about a given axis to get the surface of the solid of revolution. That is the integral of the function.

<span>It all depends of the function f(x), which must be known in order to calculate  the integral.</span>
