Answer:

5.95 A

Explanation:

From the question

R = ρL/A..................... Equation 1

Where R = resistance of the tungsten wire, ρ = Resistivity of the tungsten wire, L = length, A = cross sectional area.

Given: L = 1.5 m, A = 0.8 mm² = 0.8×10⁻⁶ m, ρ = 5.60×10⁻⁸ Ω.m

Substitute these values into equation 1

R = 1.5(5.60×10⁻⁸)/0.8×10⁻⁶

R = 0.084 Ω.

Finally, using Ohm law,

V = IR

Where V = Voltage, I = current

Make I the subject of the equation

I = V/R............... Equation 2

I = 0.5/0.084

I = 5.95 A

A velocity-time graph is shown below: (2 points)
BabaBlast [244]

Answer:

2m/s²

Explanation:

  • V=Vstart+at
  • rewrite that to find a so a=(V-Vstart)/t

part A of graph

  • a=(20m/s–0m/s)/5s
  • a=4m/s²

part B of graph

  • a=(0m/s–0m/s)/5s
  • a=0m/s²

the average between the two is both answers added divided by the number of answers

  • (4m/s²–0m/s²)/2
  • 4m/s²/2
  • 2m/s²

What is one difference between a homogeneous mixture and a heterogeneous mixture?
Shtirlitz [24]

Answer:

When oil and water are combined, they do not mix evenly, but instead form two separate layers.

Explanation:

By definition, a pure substance or a homogeneous mixture consists of a single phase. A heterogeneous mixture consists of two or more phases. When oil and water are combined, they do not mix evenly, but instead form two separate layers.
