Answer is D. Without green house gases, the earth would be covered in ice and would have an average temperature of -18 degrees Celsius. Greenhouse affects also trap the heat from the sun. Hope this helps! Please give me brainliest answer thanks

What is rectilinear propagation of light?

In which direction are the winds blowing in the northern and southern hemispheres
Alika [10]

The winds normally blow from east to the west rather than blowing from the north to the south in the northern and the southern hemispheres.

Explanation:

The reason for the blowing of the wind from the east to the west rather than from the north to the south in both the hemispheres which are the northern and the southern hemispheres are because it happens in light of the fact that Earth's rotation around it's own axis creates what is known as the Coriolis effect.

The Coriolis impact makes wind frameworks turn counter-clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere.

How does the gravitational force between two objects change if the distance between the objects doubles?
Ymorist [56]

if the distance between the objects is doubled the force is reduced by a factor of 4

Whats is gravitational force?

Gravitational force is the force of attraction between objects in the universe.

f = G * m1 * m2 / r^2

f = gravitational force

G = gravitational constant

m1 = mass of object 1

m2 = mass of object 2

r = distance between the objects

From the formular, the gravitational force and the distance is an inverse relationship so increasing the distance by a factor results to reduction of the force by the square of the factor. hence doubling the distance which is distance mutiplied by 2 will lead to reduction of the force by 2^2 = 4

Therefore: The force decreases by a factor of 4.

hope it helps
