A sidereal day is the time it takes for
ch4aika [34]

Answer:

B. the stars to come back to the same positions in the sky.

Explanation:

In fact, the solar day is equivalent to more than a rotation, because when the point has turned completely, it is not, as it should, in the same position with respect to the Sun.

The reason for this is that while performing the rotation, the Earth simultaneously moved following its orbit around the Sun.

When the reference point completed its rotation, the Earth already moved almost 2,500,000 km., So that to see the Sun again it will be necessary to turn a little more.

Solar day is more than a rotation. The sidereal or sidereal day, commonly used by astronomers, is also based on the rotation of the Earth; but in this case a distant star is taken as a reference (sidereal comes from the Latin sidus which means "star").

A car driving down a hill contains many types of energy. DESCRIBE at least 3 types of energy the car has.
VikaD [51]

Once the car is on top of the hill it contains potential energy witch means it is storing enough energy to slide the hill until acted on. Once the car moves and slides down the hill it creates kinetic energy witch means it's in motion. The car then turns the kinetic energy into mechanical energy witch means it's working. I'm not sure if that helped but good luck!

A sound wave is direct at a wall. In 20 seconds, 200 wave cycles hit the wall.
Tems11 [23]

Answer:

Frequency=10 Hz

Period=0.1 s

Explanation:

Frequency of a wave is the number of complete cycles per unit time. Usually, frequency is cycles per second, with unit as Heartz

Given cycles of the wave as 200 and time as 20 seconds

Frequency=200÷20=10 cycles per second

Therefore, frequency is 10 Hz

Period is usually the reviprocal of frequency hence reciprocal of 10 Hz will be 1/10=0.1 s
