I did this on paper at first because I wanted to see if it was correct, and I think it is, but I'll double check after I have posted this just incase. So, you need to solve for r to find the radius of the large circle, and you can do this by forming an equation:
(π × r²) + (π × 2r²) = 80π
2π × 3r² = 80π
÷ 2π
3r² = 40
÷ 3
r² = 13.33
√
r = 3.65

Because the radius of the larger circle is 2r, you need to multiply r by 2 to get 7.303 as your answer. I hope this helps!

I believe it would be 26.6 and the larger radius would be 53.4

X+2=6x-18
Please help, i need to solve for x, and this is really confusing for me.
worty [1.4K]
You would start by adding the 18 to the 2 to give you 20. then you would subtract x from the 6x to give you 5x. then your equation should be 5x=20, then you divide 20 by 5 and that give you 4. So x would equal 4. x=4

If sin ⁡x=−1/2, and 270° *
If 180°<θ<270°, and sin⁡θ=−3/4, what is the value of sin(−θ)?
dolphi86 [110]

Answer:

For each of the three basic trig functions, (sin, cos, tan) there are three more which act as their reciprocals. (csc, sec, and cot respectively)

Reciprocals, of course, are flipped fractions. If you have some number x, the reciprocal can be expressed as .

An important property of reciprocals is that if you mutliply them together they will cancel out--take for example.

Since secӨ is literally defined as the reciprocal of cosӨ, it is evident that
