How does an impulse propagate down the axon
kolezko [41]

When action potentials reach the end of the axon, they stimulate opening of Ca2+ channels, causing a release of neurotransmitters to the post-synaptic cell. How does and impulse propagate down the axon? The stimulus causes a start of the action potential and it moves down the axon without the ions moving down

ANSWER ASAP PLS!!!
kodGreya [7K]

Answer:

A solenoid field is increased with the increase in the current flow through the coil.

Explanation:

A solenoid is a current carrying coil with a significant number of loops. It works like an electromagnet inside which, a uniform and strong magnetic field is created. The magnetic field outside the solenoid field is nearly zero but not exactly zero.

While experimenting with the solenoid, scientists came to know that the magnetic field generated by the solenoid increases with the increase in the current, flowing through the solenoid.

The magnetic field works strongly around the arena of coil. The field changes its direction only near the ends and gets weak. Else its uniform throughout the loops.

The magnetic field inside the solenoid can be formulated as,

B=\mu n I

Where,

B = Magnetic field generated by the solenoid

\mu = Constant

I = Current flowing through the loops of the solenoid

How much heat is needed to raise the temperature of 1 kg of iron from 25 degree to 30 degrees?
stiv31 [10]

Answer:300 joules

Explanation:The formula for specific heat is:

E

=

m

c

θ

, where:

E

is the energy needed in joules,

m

is the mass in kilograms,

c

is the specific heat,

θ

is the change in temperature, Celsius of Kelvin doesn't matter.

Here,

m

=

0.125

kg

c

=

480

J/kg

∘

C

θ

=

5

∘

C

, and inputting:

E

=

0.125

⋅

480

⋅

5

E

=

300

J

of energy is needed.

Water starts to freeze from top whereas wax starts to freeze from bottom?why?
Nezavi [6.7K]

Answer:

im pretty sure its because wax has i higher melting point therefore it would cool quicker if the temperature dropped more. water has a lower melting point so it takes longer to freeze i think. i hope this helps

Thunderstorms are often produced ahead of this type of front
Tpy6a [65]

Answer:

Cold front

Explanation:

The occurrence of cold front takes place when colder air at the surface pushes up the warmer into the atmosphere.

The movement of these cold fronts takes place at a faster pace as compared to the other fronts and are these are linked with the most violent types of weather such as severe thunderstorms are produced.
