Mixed numbers and whole numbers use circle graphs to emphasize them. For example a mixed number would be 1 whole circle and 1/2 or 3/4 of another. An improper fraction would be 4 circles and each divided into 100 to make 400/4 then you can simplify it to make an exact 100. Hope I helped. PS I didn't ever have this question.
