What is the product of silver nitrate + lead ii nitrate?

Chemistry

Answer:

Explanation:

In theory, not much of anything. The vast majority of nitrates are water soluble. Aside, not sure what chemistry level you are at but you will probably be asked to know or memorize some solubility rules. This, for lack of a better phrase, Nitrate rule, is near spot on. With one exception—a rare one—all metal cationic nitrates are soluble in water. All of them. So, assuming you are talking about aqueous, water-based solutions of these salts and mixing them together, I expect nothing to occur. Both solutions, I believe are colorless in water and will thus remain so. If you had say a solution of Iron (III) nitrate and copper (II) nitrate, slightly different story. Both are colorful solutions and I would think you might see blending of colors but no reaction; no precipitate will form. You will probably learn about markers of a chemical reaction. One of these is a color change. Note, you should read this as a change of color from what you previously had. Going from red to blue or colorless to colored (or vice versa) is a strong indication of a reaction (e. g. evidence of bond-breaking and bond-formation). The mere mixing of colors does not constitute a chemical reaction.

What does the constant bombardment of gas molecules against the inside walls of a container produce?
alukav5142 [94]
The constant bombardment of gas molecules against the inside walls of a container produces Pressure.

Explanation:
                    Pressure is defined as Force per unit Area.

                                        P  =  F  /  A

In case of gases, the gas molecules have high Kinetic Energy and they move with high velocity. This cause them to strike against the inside wall of the container. Pressure is directly proportional to temperature. Increase in temperature cause to increase the Kinetic Energy of molecules, Hence, the rate of collisions increases resulting in increasing the pressure.

-- A scientist combines 14 grams of potassium nitrate with an unknown amount of
igor_vitrenko [27]

Answer:

The unknown amount of potassium chloride is 13.6 grams.

Explanation:

The reaction of 14 grams of KNO₃ with KCl produces a total mass of 27.6 grams of the products.

The law of conservation of mass tells us that the total mass of the reactants must be the same that the total mass of the products. So, we can find the mass of KCl as follows:

m_{r} = m_{p}

Where r is for reactants and p is for products

m_{KNO_{3}} + m_{KCl} = m_{p}

14 g + m_{KCl} = 27.6 g

m_{KCl} = 27.6 g - 14 g = 13.6 g

Therefore, the unknown amount of potassium chloride is 13.6 grams.

I hope it helps you!
