A seesaw pivots as shown in below. What is the net torque about the pivot point?
rodikova [14]

Answer:

2.3 Nm clockwise

Explanation:

Take counterclockwise to be positive and clockwise to be negative.

∑τ = (3 N) (2.5 m) − (7 N) (1.4 m)

∑τ = 7.5 Nm − 9.8 Nm

∑τ = -2.3 Nm

The net torque is 2.3 Nm clockwise.

Compare and contrast the inner and outer planets. (Must be in complete sentences) (At least 5 sentences).
Karolina [17]

To contrast inner and outer planets we will start with the climate of the planets and then move on to there lighting. To start the planets closet to the sun, mercury, venus, earth and mars, are all hot compared to the further one, jupiter, saturn, uranus, neptune. This distance also makes the farthe away planets darker than the ones closer. Now to compare all the planets vary from either gass or solid, rocky or icy. All of them spin around the sun and all have objects spinning around them, moons.

Two electric charges, held a distance, dd, apart experience an electric force of magnitude, FF, between them. If one of the char
lorasvet [3.4K]

Answer:

F'=2F

Explanation:

The Coulomb's law states that the magnitude of the electrostatic force between two charges is directly proportional to the product of the magnitudes of charges and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them:

F=\frac{kq_1q_2}{d^2}

In this case, we have q_1'=2q_1:

F'=\frac{kq'_1q_2}{d^2}\\F'=\frac{k(2q_1)q_2}{d^2}\\F'=2\frac{kq_1q_2}{d^2}\\F'=2F
