Answer:

C + O2 -> CO2

C 20.4/12 = 1.7

O 70.4-16.0/16=3.4

CO2 1.7 mol * 44 = 74.8

Which of the following is an example of a safe laboratory procedure?
ollegr [7]
A is the correct answer. Tying back long hair and loose clothing is important so they don’t dangle in flames or liquids that could dissolve or bleach them, for example. The other choices - consuming food and drink from lab wares, touching hot objects without gloves on and inhaling odors - are examples of very unsafe procedures.

Unknown A melts at 113- 114oC. Known compounds 3-Nitroaniline and 4-Nitrophenol both melt at 112-114 oC. If A is mixed with 3-Ni
Naya [18.7K]

Answer:

C) Both

Explanation:

Whenever we mix any pure form of a compound with some other form of a compound which is not in the other standard pure state, this results in the melting point of mixture to get dispersed and it becomes broad form.

Thus, when a known compound of 3-Nitroaniline mixes with both 3-Nitroaniline and 4-Nitrophenol, the melting point of the compound becomes depressed and board.

Thus the correct option is (C).

What is the effect of high activation energy on a chemical reaction?
sweet [91]

D. It makes the reaction harder to start- the need for more activation energy means less successful collisions therefore the reaction can not be started as easily if there were a lower activation energy.
