To determine the mass, you need to know the molecular weight of the c8h10n4o2 . The molecular weight of <span>c8h10n4o2 would be: 8*12 + 10*1 + 4*14 + 2*16= 194g/mol.
To convert the number of molecules into moles, you need to divide it with 6.02 * 10^23. The calculation of the mass of </span>c8h10n4o2 would be:
(7.20×10^20 molecules)  /(6.02 * 10^23 molecule/mol)  * 194g/mol= 232 * 10^-3 grams= 0.232 grams

Answer: 0.23 grams

Explanation:

According to avogadro's law, 1 mole of every substance weighs equal to its molecular mass and contains avogadro's number 6.023\times 10^{23} of particles.

To calculate the number of moles, we use the equation:

\text{Number of moles}=\frac{\text{Given molecules}}{\text{Avogadro's number}}=\frac{7.20\times 10^{20}}{6.023\times 10^{23}}=1.2\times 10^{-3}moles

1 mole of caffeine (C_8H_{10}N_4O_2) weighs = 194 g

1.2\times 10^{-3}  moles of  (C_8H_{10}N_4O_2) weigh = \frac{194}{1}\times 1.2\times 10^{-3}=0.23g

Thus mass of caffeine (C_8H_{10}N_4O_2) is 0.23 grams.

G x mol/g x atoms/mol= <br><br> what are the units remaining after conversion
antiseptic1488 [7]

Answer:

The "unit" remaining after conversion is atoms.

This is a way to calculate the number of atoms, in an specific mass.

Explanation:

When you have a mass, multiplying the molar mass, "grams" are cancelled, so you finally obtained, number of moles.

Moles . atoms/mol, cancel the word mol so you will find out a number of atoms, present at the mass from, the begining.

For example, how many atoms are in 10 g of NaCl

Molar mass NaCl = Na mass + Cl mass

23 + 35.45 = 58.45 g/m

10 g . 1 / 58.45 mol/g  . NA/ 1 mol = 3.42x10²⁰ atoms

NA = Avogadro number

Describe the nucleus of the atom. Include a description of its size relative to the rest of the atom.
faust18 [17]

Answer:

The nucleus is the most densely compacted part of the atom, it is in the center circled by the electron cloud or shells. It is filled with positively charged protons, and neutrons which have no charge. It is smaller than the electron cloud in size, but in quantity it has more subatomic particles since protons and electrons are equal and the nucleus has nuetrons

Blance equation __CaBr2 (aq) + ___Li3PO4(aq) → ___Ca3(PO4)2(s) + ____LiBr (aq)
QveST [7]

Answer:

3CaBr2 + 2LI3PO4 - > Ca3(PO4) 2 + 6LiBr

Explanation:

The first one I did was PO4. There are two on the right side, so I added 2 to Li3PO4 on the other side. That balanced the PO4s and then gave me 6 Lithiums so I balanced that one next on the right side. I added 6 to LiBr which balanced the Li but then gave me 6 Br, so I finished it off by adding 3 in front of CaBr2 which balanced the calcium and bromines.

Here was the process:

CaBr2+2Li3PO4 -> Ca3(PO4)2+LiBr

Balances PO4 (2on both sides)

CaBr2+2Li3PO4 -> Ca3(PO4)2+6LiBr

Balances Lithiums (6 on each side)

3CaBr2+2Li3PO4 -> Ca3(PO4)2+6LiBr

Balances Calciums and Bromines (3 Calciums and 6 Bromines each side)

Hope this helped!
