The statement that is necessarily correct about the reaction is that both calcium carbonate and sodium carbonate are being produced

2NaCl + CaCO3 ⇌ Na2CO3 + CaCl2

The reaction above is a reversible reaction. A reversible reaction is a reaction in which the conversion of reactant to products and the conversion from product to reactant occurs simultaneously. This reaction is just like a back and forth reaction.

⇌ symbol represents a reversible reaction. Therefore, the statement that is necessarily correct about the reaction is that both calcium carbonate and sodium carbonate are being produced

Coulomb measured the deflection of sphere A when spheres A and B had equal charges and were a distance d apart. He then made the
sdas [7]

Answer:

The new distance is     d = 0.447 d₀

Explanation:

The electric out is given by Coulomb's Law

         F = k q₁ q₂ / r²

This electric force is in balance with tension.

We reduce the charge of sphere B to 1/5 of its initial value (q_{B}=q₂ = q₂ / 5) than new distance (d = n d₀)

dat

     q₁ = q_{A}

     q₂ = q_{B}

     r = d₀

In order for the deviation to maintain the electric force it should not change, so we apply the Coulomb equation for the two points

         F = k q₁ q₂ / d₀²

         F = k q₁ (q₂ / 5) / (n d₀)²

         .k q₁ q₂ / d₀² = q₁ q₂ / (5 n² d₀²)

          5 n² = 1

          n = √ 1/5

          n = 0.447

The new distance is

         d = 0.447 d₀

Two charges, Q1 and Q2, are separated by 6·cm. The repulsive force between them is 25·N. In each case below, find the force betw
Misha Larkins [42]

Answer:

a) 5 N b) 225 N c) 5 N

Explanation:

a) Per Coulomb's Law the repulsive force between 2 equal sign charges, is directly proportional to the product of the charges, and inversely proportional to the square of  the distance between them, acting along  the  line that joins the charges, as follows:

F₁₂ = K Q₁ Q₂ / r₁₂²

So, if we make Q1 = Q1/5, the net effect will be to reduce the force in the same factor, i.e. F₁₂ = 25 N / 5 = 5 N

b) If we reduce the distance, from r, to r/3, as the  factor is squared, the net effect will be to increase the force in a factor equal to 3² = 9.

So, we will have F₁₂ = 9. 25 N = 225 N

c) If we make Q2 = 5Q2, the force would be increased 5 times, but if at the same , we increase the distance 5 times, as the factor is squared, the net factor will be 5/25 = 1/5, so we will have:

F₁₂ = 25 N .1/5 = 5 N
