o make the bulbs work?
A switch, two light bulbs and a battery are connected in a circuit. A wire is coming from each side of the battery and connects to each light bulb. Each light bulb has a wire coming from the same connecting point as the battery and going to each side of the switch. The switch is down.

Jamie needs to flip the battery around the other way.

Jamie should flip the switch up for it to be a closed circuit.

A circuit is aptly defined as a path provided for the flow of current. However, current will only flow when the circuit is closed. In a closed circuit, electrons can flow freely.

In order to make the bulbs work, what Jamie can do to fix the circuit is to  flip the switch up for it to be a closed circuit.

3. A 4.00 gram sample of solid gold was heated from 274K to 314K. How much energy was involved?
MrMuchimi
Q = mcΔT = (4.00 g)(0.129 J/g•°C)(40.85 °C - 0.85 °C)
Q = 20.6 J of energy was involved (more specifically, 20.6 J of heat energy was absorbed from the surroundings by the sample of solid gold).

Calculate the molarity and normality of 5.7 g of Ca(OH)2 in 450 mL of solution.
Kisachek [45]
  The  molarity   and  normality  of  5.7 g  of  Ca(OH)2   in  450ml  0f    solution  is  calculated  as  follows

molarity  =  moles/volume in  liters
moles  =mass/molar  mass
=  5.7g/74g/mol  =  0.077moles
molarity =  0.077/450  x1000= 0.17M

Normality =  equivalent  point  x molarity
equivalent  point  of Ca(OH)2  is  2   since  it has  two  Hydrogen  atom

normality  is therefore =  0.17  x2 = 0.34 N
