Answer:

b. One molecule of ammonia is composed of two atoms of nitrogen and three atoms of hydrogen.

Explanation:

N2(g) + 3 H2(g) ---> 2 NH3(g)

reason its b.
1 molecule of ammonia would be NH3 , there is 1 atom of nitrogen and 3 atoms of hydrogen. There is not 2 atoms of nitrogen in one molecule of ammonia therefore the reaction does not indicate B.

Reasons its not a, c or d

A. The g means "gas". Each compound and element in this reaction has a g therefore they are all gases. Because all substances in the reaction are gases (or in the same physical state) the reaction indicates answer choice A.

C. That two molecules of ammonia are produced, the product of the reaction is 2NH3. NH3 is ammonia and there is a coefficient of 2 before the NH3 so 2 molecules of ammonia is produced during the reaction.

D. 1 molecule of nitrogen ( N2 ) reacts with 3 molecules of hydrogen ( 3H2 ). This is true looking at the reaction. N2(g) + 3 H2(g)

Proteins have a variety of functions within a living cell. Describe at least three of the possible functions of proteins, and ex
prisoha [69]
Three of the functions of proteins are as antibodies, as enzymes and as messengers. As antibodies, they protect the cells from diseases ie they fight diseases. As enzymes, they regulate the chemical reactions within cells, and thirdly they transmit signals as messengers such as hormones do in co-ordinating biological processes. Proteins are so diverse because of their unique 3-D structures which their polymers form from the 20 amino acids available as their building blocks.

How many moles of potassium hydroxide are needed to completely react with 2.94 moles of aluminum sulfate
ArbitrLikvidat [17]

Answer:- Third choice is correct, 17.6 moles

Solution:- The given balanced equation is:

Al_2(SO_4)_3+6KOH\rightarrow 2Al(OH)_3+3K_2SO_4

We are asked to calculate the moles of potassium hydroxide needed to completely react with 2.94 moles of aluminium sulfate.

From the balanced equation, there is 1:6 mol ratio between aluminium sulfate and potassium hydroxide.

It is a simple mole to mole conversion problem. We solve it using dimensional set up as:

2.94molAl_2(SO_4)_3(\frac{6molKOH}{1molAl_2(SO_4)_3})

= 17.6 mol KOH

So, Third choice is correct, 17.6 moles of potassium hydroxide are required to react with 2.94 moles of aluminium sulfate.
