We have that the speed of the ice at the bottom is mathematically given as

v=1.8812m/s

The speed of the ice at the bottom

Question Parameters:

A 8.00 kg block of ice, released from rest

at the top of a 1.50-m-long frictionless ramp,

slides downhill, reaching a speed of 2.70 m/s

constant friction force of 10.0 N parallel to the surface of the ramp

Generally the equation for the Potential Energy is is mathematically given as

P.E=K.E+W_{fric}

Therefore

mgh=0.5mv^2+W_{fric}

Where

W_{fric}=F.S

W_{fric}=10*1.50

W_{fric}=15

And

mgh=0.5mv^2+

h=0.3719

Hence

0.5(8.00)(v^2)=(8.00)(9.8)(0.3719)-15

v^2=3.53924

v=1.8812m/s

Difference between relaxation time and collision time?
Black_prince [1.1K]
For the answer to the question above, let us first start with relaxation time. it is the absence of an external electric field, the free electrons in a metallic substance will move in random directions so that the resultant velocity of free electrons in any direction is equal to zero. While the Collision time it is the mean time required for the direction of motion of an individual type particle to deviate through approximately as a consequence of collisions with particles of type.

Ket [755]

The total electric potential at the center of the square due to the four charges is V = √2Q/πÈa.

What do you mean by electric potential?

The amount of work needed to move a unit charge from a reference point to a specific point against an electric field. It's SI unit is volt.

V = kq/r

Where V represents electric potential, K is coulomb constant, q is Charge and r is distance between any two around charge to the point charge.

Electric potential at O due to four charges is given by,

V = 4KQ/ r

where, r = √2a/2 = a/√2

V = 4k × Q√2/a

V = √2Q/πÈa

The total electric potential at the center of the square due to the four charges is V = √2Q/πÈa.

Four distinguishable particles move freely in a room divided into octants (there are no actual partitions). Let the basic states
mafiozo [28]

Answer:

Explanation:

Since the door that leads to the room is opened, this gives room for particles to move into the next identical room and divided into octants. Now the amount of space that can be occupied becomes double, the number of basic states has increased by 404916
