Velocity helps measure the rate at which an object changes it's position in a given direction. If you were measuring a tornado, for example, you would want to know both speed and velocity to predict where as well as how fast it will travel.

Electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength of 575 nm appears as yellow light to the human eye. The energy of one photon of this
Alecsey [184]

Answer:

9.12 * 10^20 photons

Explanation:

Given that;

E=n⋅h⋅ν

Where;

E= energy of the electromagnetic radiation

n = number of photons

h = Plank's constant

ν = frequency of electromagnetic radiation

Hence;

n = E/hν

n = 3.46 × 10 -19/6.6 * 10^-34 * 575 * 10^-9

n = 3.46 × 10 -19/3795 * 10^-43

n=  9.12 * 10^20 photons

A ringers solution for intravenous fluid replacement contains 155 mEq of Ca2+ per liter of solution. if a patient receives 1850
Nonamiya [84]
Milliequivalent is a unit that made from millimol unit multiplied by the valence of the atoms. Calcium has 2 valence electron so the mEq would be twice as much as the mol. The solution has 155meq/liter and the volume is 1850ml. Then, the amount of calcium in the solution should be:

1850ml * (155mEq/1000ml) / (2mEq/mmol)= 143.375mmol= 0.144 mol

A pinball bangs against a bumper, giving the ball a speed of 4. 5 m/s. If the ball has a mass of 50.0 g, what is the ball’s kine
Daniel [21]

Answer:

K.E =  0.5 j

Explanation:

Given data:

Mass of ball = 50 g (50/1000 =0.05 kg)

Speed of ball = 4.5 m/s

K.E of ball = ?

Solution:

Formula:

K.E = 1/2 m.v²

Now we will put the values in formula

K.E = 1/2 (0.05 kg) (4.5 m/s)²

K.E = 1/2 (0.05 kg) 20.25 m²/s²

K.E = 1/2 (1.0 kg. m²/s²)

K.E =  0.5 kg. m²/s²

j = kg. m²/s²

K.E =  0.5 j
