Answer:

Introduction

1. What was the purpose of the experiment?

Type your answer here:

The purpose of this experiment is test how much time does the hot water get vaporize.

2. What were the independent, dependent, and control variables in your investigation?

Type your answer here:

Dependent variable / Responding variable: Its response depends on any change in the independent variable. The dependent variable is the one that is being investigated, studied, and measured. It represents a quantity of something which value depends on how the independent variable is modified. It is usually identified by the letter Y.  A change in the dependent variable might be proportional or inversely proportional to the change in the manipulated variable. In the exposed example, the dependent variable is the egg circumference.

Experimental Methods

1. What tools did you use to collect your data?

Type your answer here:

Some hot water and ice cub and phone for set time…

2. Write your procedure. List each step so that another student could follow the procedure and repeat your experiment.

Type your answer here:

Gather all your materials.

Pour a small amount of hot water into the cup (it must be hot)

Place a second cup on top of the cup and cover, then tape the rim of the cup, or place plastic wrap on top of the cup and wrap the plastic wrap with tape.

Place an ice cube or two on the glass or plastic wrap.

Start the stopwatch.

Look for water droplets that form on the plastic wrap or the side of the cup. Stop the stopwatch when you see droplets form.

Data and Observations

1. Record your observations in a data table.

Type your answer here:

The first try I have wait 3min.

The second try I have wait 30 sec.

Conclusions

1. What conclusions can you draw about how the temperature of air affects the time for water vapor to condense when it mixes with warm, humid air? Write an evidence-based claim.

Type your answer here:

The warmer the air is water vapors will condense quicker when it mixes with human or warm air.

2. A cold front is the zone where a cold air mass is replacing a warmer air mass. What do you predict will happen to the weather at a cold front when the air is humid? Use cause-and-effect relationships and evidence from your experiment to support your prediction.

Type your answer here:

A cold weather front is defined as the changeover region where a cold air mass is replacing a warmer air mass. Cold weather fronts usually move from northwest to southeast. The air behind a cold front is colder and drier than the air in front.

The measure of the number of atoms in one element that will combine with an atom of another element is
cupoosta [38]

The correct answer is:

C. valence.

Explanation:

The valence or valency of an element is a stratagem of its connecting power with other atoms when it makes chemical compounds or molecules.

A valence electron is an outer shell electron that is connected with an atom, and that can compete in the formation of a chemical bond if the outer shell is not closed; in a single covalent bond, both atoms in the bond provide one valence electron in order to form a shared pair

The gas OF2 can be produced from the electrolysis of an aqueous solution of KF, as shown in the equation below.
Readme [11.4K]

Answer:

A) 6.48 g of OF₂ at the anode.

Explanation:

The gas OF₂ can be obtained through the oxidation of F⁻ (inverse reaction of the reduction presented). The standard potential of the oxidation is the opposite of the standard potential of the reduction.

H₂O(l) + 2 F⁻(aq) → OF₂(g) + 2 H⁺(aq) + 4 e⁻    E° = -2.15 V

Oxidation takes place in the anode.

We can establish the following relations:

  • 1 Faraday is the charge corresponding to 1 mole of e⁻.
  • 1 mole of OF₂ is produced when 4 moles of e⁻ circulate.
  • The molar mass of OF₂ is 54.0 g/mol.

The mass of OF₂ produced when 0.480 F pass through an aqueous KF solution is:

0.480F.\frac{1mole^{-} }{1F} .\frac{1molOF_{2}}{4mole^{-} } .\frac{54.0gOF_{2}}{1molOF_{2}} =6.48gOF_{2}
