How does wind affect the amount of rain? 3 or sentence

  • When winds in the upper troposphere blow away from one another instead (diverge), they form an area of lower pressure up high.
  • That lower pressure sucks air up from below, causing lower pressure at ground level.
  • The air that sinks in a high is dry, and you need moist air to make rain.
  • It blows the heavy dark clouds filled with water over to other areas which brings rain.

Which of the following happens to an object in uniform circular motion?
podryga [215]

Answer:

As an object moves in a circle, it is constantly changing its direction. ... Accelerating objects are objects which are changing their velocity - either the speed (i.e., magnitude of the velocity vector) or the direction. An object undergoing uniform circular motion is moving with a constant speed.

Assuming that the limits of the visible spectrum are approximately 380 and 700 nm, find the angular range of the first-order vis
ch4aika [34]

Answer:

angular range is ( 0.681 rad , 0.35 rad )

Explanation:

given data

wavelength λ = 380 nm = 380 × 10^{-9} m

wavelength λ  = 700 nm =  700 × 10^{-9} m

to find out

angular range of the first-order

solution

we will apply here slit experiment equation that is

d sinθ = m λ    ...........1

here m is 1 for single slit and d is = \frac{1}{900*10^3 m}

so put here value in equation 1 for 380 nm

we get

d sinθ = m λ

\frac{1}{900*10^3} sinθ = 1 × 380 × 10^{-9}

θ = 0.35 rad

and for 700 nm

we get

d sinθ = m λ

\frac{1}{900*10^3} sinθ = 1 × 700 × 10^{-9}

θ = 0.681 rad

so angular range is ( 0.681 rad , 0.35 rad )

A bowling ball moving with a velocity of 5V to the right collides elastically with a beach ball moving at a velocity 2V to the l
katen-ka-za [31]

Answer:

v'_2=3V

Explanation:

From the question we are told that:

Bowling ball Speed v_1=5 m/s

Beach ball Speed v_2=2 m/s

Let The Mass be equal i.e

 M_1=M_2

Therefore

Generally the equation for Velocity of beach ball after collision v'_2 is mathematically given by

Since Velocity is Vector Quantity

Therefore

 v'_2=v_1-v_2

 v'_2=5-2

 v'_2=3V

A piano tuner sounds two strings simultaneously. One has been previously tuned to vibrate at 293.0 Hz. The tuner hears 3.0 beats
ololo11 [35]

Answer:

Part a)

f_B = 290 Hz

Part B)

percentage increase is

percentage = 1.38%

Explanation:

Part a)

As we know that the beat frequency is

f_A - f_B = 3

after increasing the tension the beat frequency is decreased and hence the tension in string B will increase

So we have

293 - f_B = 3

f_B = 290 Hz

Part B)

percentage increase in the tension of the string will be given as

f_A - f_B' = 1

f_B' = 292 Hz

now we have

f = \frac{1}{2L}\sqrt{\frac{T}{\mu}}

so we have

T_1 = C (290)^2

T_2 = C(292)^2

so we have

\frac{\Delta T}{T} = \frac{292^2 - 290^2}{290^2}

percentage increase is

percentage = 1.38
