The force result in stretching the spring 10.0 centimeters is 2.5N.

<h3>What is Hooke's law?</h3>

If a spring is stretched from its equilibrium position, then a force with magnitude proportional to the increase in length from the equilibrium length is pulling each end.

F = kx

where k is the proportionality constant called the spring constant or force constant.

Up to a point, the elongation of a spring is directly proportional to the force applied to it. Once you extend the spring more than 10.0 centimeters, however, it no longer follows that simple linear rule.

Let the spring constant be very low 0.04N/m

The force applied is

F = 10 cm / 0.04

F = 0.1 m  / 0.04

F = 2.5 N

Thus, the force result in stretching the spring 10cm is 2.5 N.

That's the period of time known as one solar "day". We subdivide it into 24 slices which we call "hours". Using this system of time units, the day is about 4 minutes longer than one complete axial rotation of the Earth.

Newton’s 3rd law of motion states that “every action has an equal and opposite reaction.” A golf ball was hit with a force of 20
DedPeter [7]

Answer:

<u>Example of Newton's III law</u>

  • In the, golf the ball was hit by a club with certain force. As the club hits the ball it's the action. When the ball flies away its the reaction.
  • When a person swings a golf club at the ball, when it hits the ball, it causes the ball to roll up the face of the club and into the air towards the target.

The Moon requires about 1 month (0.08 year) to orbit Earth. Its distance from us is about 400,000 km (0.0027 AU). Use Kepler’s t
dem82 [27]

Answer:

\frac{M_e}{M_s} = 3.07 \times 10^{-6}

Explanation:

As per Kepler's III law we know that time period of revolution of satellite or planet is given by the formula

T = 2\pi \sqrt{\frac{r^3}{GM}}

now for the time period of moon around the earth we can say

T_1 = 2\pi\sqrt{\frac{r_1^3}{GM_e}}

here we know that

T_1 = 0.08 year

r_1 = 0.0027 AU

M_e = mass of earth

Now if the same formula is used for revolution of Earth around the sun

T_2 = 2\pi\sqrt{\frac{r_2^3}{GM_s}}

here we know that

r_2 = 1 AU

T_2 = 1 year

M_s = mass of Sun

now we have

\frac{T_2}{T_1} = \sqrt{\frac{r_2^3 M_e}{r_1^3 M_s}}

\frac{1}{0.08} = \sqrt{\frac{1 M_e}{(0.0027)^3M_s}}

12.5 = \sqrt{(5.08 \times 10^7)\frac{M_e}{M_s}}

\frac{M_e}{M_s} = 3.07 \times 10^{-6}

A cubical Gaussian surface surrounds two positive charges, each has a charge q 1 1 = + 3.90 × 10 − 12 3.90×10−12 C, and three ne
Masteriza [31]

Answer:

The electric flux is zero because charge is zero.

Explanation:

Given that,

Positive charge q_{1}=3.90\times10^{-12}\ C

Negative charge q_{2}=-2.60\times10^{-12}\ C

We need to calculate the total charged

Using formula of charge

Q_{enc}=2q_{1}+3q_{2}

Put the value into the formula

Q_{enc}=2\times3.90\times10^{-12}+3\times(-2.60\times10^{-12})

Q_{enc}=0

We need to calculate the electric flux

Using formula of electric flux

\phi=\dfrac{Q_{enc}}{\epsilon_{0}}

Put the value into the formula

\phi=\dfrac{0}{8.85\times10^{-12}}

Hence, The electric flux is zero because charge is zero.
