The Bhutan Forest Act of 1969, affect the lives of shifting cultivators because the act placed the status of Tsheri land on the same footing with wetland and rain-fed land.

What is shifting cultivators?

A field that had been developed whenever was left neglected for quite a long time, Shifting cultivators were tracked down in the sloping and forested lots of North-east and Central India. The existences of these ancestral individuals relied upon free development inside backwoods and on having the option to involve the land and woods for developing their harvests.

The Forest Act of 1969 has restricted new clearances for moving development however has not deterred the act of it where such development doesn't jeopardize the wellbeing of the roadway and public property. The Land Act of 1979 has put the situation with
Tsheri land on a similar footing with wetland and rain fed land.

Thus, Bhutan Forest Act of 1969, affect the lives of shifting cultivators.

In which situation is work not being done?
almond37 [142]

AS

work done =W = F.d = F d cosФ     (Ф is angle between force F and displacement d) If a body/object is moving on a smooth surface (friction-less surface ) .There is no force acting on that body.  F=0 so W=FdcosФ= (0)dcosФ ⇒ W=0

Now if a body is facing some amount of force but under the action of force there is no displacement covered. d=0 so W =FdcosФ= F(0)cosФ ⇒W=0

example: A person is applying a force on rigid wall but wall remains at rest there is no displacement occurs in wall.

The third term upon which work done dependent is angle between force and displacement i.e Ф. If Ф=90° then W= FdcosФ= Fdcos90⇒ W=0 ( as cos 90°=0)

an astronaut on earth notes that in her soft drink an ice cube floats with 9/10 of its volume submerged. if she were instead in
nadya68 [22]

The gravitation force is 1/6 that of earth, and the ice in the same soft drink would float with 9/10 submerged option (B) is correct.

What is gravitational force?

All mass-bearing objects are attracted by gravitational force. Because it consistently attempts to bring masses together rather than push them apart, the gravitational force is referred to as attractive.

As we know, the gravitational force is given by:

\rm F = \dfrac{Gm_1m_2}{r^2}

Where G is the gravitational constant.

m1 and m2 are masses.

r is the distance between the masses.

Weight of ice cube = weight of soft drink displaced

mg = ρVg

m = ρV

g does not affect astronauts on earth in a lunar module.

Thus, the gravitation force is 1/6 that of earth, and the ice in the same soft drink would float with 9/10 submerged option (B) is correct.

An astronaut on Earth notes that in her soft drink an ice cube floats with 9/10 of its volume submerged. If she were instead in a lunar module parked on the Moon where the gravitation force is 1/6 that of Earth, the ice in the same soft drink would float:A) with more than 9/10 submerged. B) with 9/10 submerged.C) with 6/10 submerged.D) totally submerged.

A piece of bismuth with a mass of 4.06 g 4.06 g gains 423 J 423 J of heat. If the specific heat of bismuth is 0.123 J / ( g ° C
Sholpan [36]

Answer: 846°C

Explanation:

The quantity of Heat Energy (Q) required to heat bismuth depends on its Mass (M), specific heat capacity (C) and change in temperature (Φ)

Thus, Q = MCΦ

Given that:

Q = 423 joules

Mass of bismuth = 4.06g

C = 0.123 J/(g°C)

Φ = ?

Then, Q = MCΦ

423 J = 4.06g x 0.123 J/(g°C) x Φ

423 J = 0.5J/°C x Φ

Φ = (423J/ 0.5g°C)

Φ = 846°C

Thus, the change in temperature of the sample is 846°C
