The mcg/kg/minute the client is receiving is 1.904 mcg/kg/min whose weight is 70 kg.

What does mcg kg mean?

1 milligram (mg) = 1000 micrograms (mcg) or 0.001 grams (g) 1 g = 1000 mg 1 kilogram (kg) = 1000 g 1 kg = 2.2 pound (lb) 1 liter (L) = 1000 milliliters (mL)

The number of mcg/kg/minute = flow rate × concentration ÷ mass of client

Flow rate = 12 ml/hour = 12 ml/hour × 1 hr/60 min = 0.2 ml/min

Concentration = mass of dopamine/volume

where

mass of dopamine = 800 mg and

volume = 500 ml

Concentration =800 mg/500 ml

= 1.6 mg/ml

= 1.6 mg/ml × 1000 mcg/mg

= 1600 mcg/ml

mass of client = 70 kg

Calculating mcg/kg/minute

So, substituting the variables into the equation, we have

mcg/kg/minute = flow rate × concentration ÷ mass of client

mcg/kg/minute = 0.08 ml/min × 1600 mcg/ml ÷ 70 kg

mcg/kg/minute = 320 mcg/min ÷ 70 kg

mcg/kg/minute = 1.904 mcg/kg/min

Thus, the mcg/kg/minute the client is receiving is 1.904 mcg/kg/min

Determine if each statement below is True or False regarding Arrhenius and Br∅nsted-Lowry definitions for acids and bases.
Vlad1618 [11]

Answer:

All statements are true

Explanation:

Arrhenius theory:-

The Arrhenius theory was introduced introduced by Swedish scientist named Svante Arrhenius in 1887.

According to the theory, acids are the substances which dissociate in the aqueous medium to produce electrically charged atoms ( may be molecule). Out of these species furnished, one must be a proton or the hydrogen ion, H^+.

Hence, statement 1 is correct.

Bronsted-Lowry base is the specie which accepts the proton form the medium. For example, Benzoate ion is the conjugate base of the benzoic acid. It is a Bronsted-Lowry base and the dissociation of benzoate ion can be shown as:-

C_6H_5COO^-_{(aq)} + H_2O_{(l)}\rightleftharpoons C_6H_5COOH_{(aq)} + OH^-_{(aq)}

Hence, statement 2 is correct.

Acetic acid will dissociate as:-

CH_3COOH\rightleftharpoons CH_3COO^-+H^+

Hence, statement 3 is also correct.

A Pitot-static probe is used to measure the speed of an aircraft flying at 3000 m. If the differential pressure reading is 3100
inessss [21]

Answer:

82.59 m/s or 297.324 km/h

Explanation:

From the question,

Applying

V = √[2(P'/ρ)].................. Equation 1 ( From

Where V = Speed of the aircraft, Differential Pressure of the air craft, ρ = Density of air at an altitude of 3000 m.

Given: P' = 3100 N/m², ρ = 0.909 kg/m³

Substitute into equation 1

V = √[2(3100/0.909)]

V = √(2×3410.34)

V = √(6820.68)

V = 82.59 m/s

V = 297.324 km/h

Hence the speed of the aircraft is 82.59 m/s or 297.324 km/h
