The molecular formula is the sum of the atomic masses of all atoms in the molecule.

The formula of Soda Ash:

Na₂CO₃ is also known as Sodium Carbonate.

The molecular mass of Soda Ash is

(2×Na)+(1×C)+(3×O)=106g/mol

The formula of Baking Soda:

NaHCO₃ is also known as Sodium bicarbonate.

The molecular mass of Baking Soda is

(1×Na)+(1×H)+(1×C)+(3×O)=84g/mol

The formula of Lime Stone:

CaCO₃ is also known as Calcium carbonate.

The molecular mass of Lime Stone:

(1×Ca)+(1×H)+(1×C)+(3×O)=100g/mol

The formula of Ethanol:

C₂H₅OH is the formula of ethanol.

The molecular mass of Ethanol:

(2×C)+(6×H)+(1×O)=46g/mol

The formula of Common Salt:

NaCl is also known as Sodium chloride.

The molecular mass of Common Salt:

(1×Na)+(1×Cl)=58.5g/mol

Elemental Li and Na are prepared by electrolysis of a molten salt, whereas K, Rb, and Cs are prepared by chemical reduction.(c)
pishuonlain [190]

Calcium is used to isolate Rb from molten RbX because calcium has a smaller atomic radius than rubidium.

A chemical element's atomic radius, which is typically the average or typical distance between the nucleus's core and the outermost isolated electron, serves as a gauge for the size of an atom. There are numerous non-equivalent definitions of atomic radius since the border is not a clearly defined physical entity. Van der Waals radius, ionic radius, metallic radius, and covalent radius are the four most frequently used definitions of atomic radius. Atomic radii are typically measured in a chemically bound condition since it is challenging to isolated individual atoms in order to measure their radii individually.

If an object has a density of 0.55 g/mL, what is its density in cg/L?
expeople1 [14]

"cg" is centigram, which is one-hundredth of a gram.

I will first convert from g to cg (multiply by 100), then from mL to L (multiply by 1000).

\frac{0.55g}{mL}*\frac{100cg}{1g}*\frac{1000mL}{1L}=55,000\frac{cg}{L} \ or \ 5.5e4\frac{cg}{L}
