Forward and downward speed are referred to as acceleration and deceleration respectively.

<h3>What is Acceleration?</h3>

This is the rate at which an object gains speed with respect to time with its unit being meter per second square(m/s²).

Objects in constant speed are said to have a uniform motion. The downward speed is known as deceleration which involves the object losing speed to return to a state of rest.

Answer:

The correct answer is option '5': The type of metal from which the plate is made.

Explanation:

According to the principle of photoelectric effect we know that electron's are only emitted from a surface of metal if the frequency of the light is larger than a threshold frequency that depends on the metal and is known as threshold  function of the metal. The ejection of the electrons is independent of intensity of the incident light meaning any light of frequency lower than work function will not eject electrons from the metal no matter whatever the intensity of the light, or the surface area or thermal conductivity, time of illumination.

PLEASE HELP
Maurinko [17]

Answer:

37.18 N

Explanation:

Given:

Work (W) = 483.3 J

Distance (d) = 13 m

We can determine the value of the force as follows:

W = F.d

We replacing:

483.3 = F. 13

F = 483.3 ÷ 13

F = 37.18 N

The force on the block is 37.18 N
