The negative effect of technology on Healthcare:

Impersonal treatment, harmful health impacts, higher expenditures, the potential for overuse, and privacy violations are just a few of the negative effects of medical technology.

Medical technology:

It refers to all technological tools or apparatus utilized to protect human life. Medical equipment such as an insulin pump, a wireless brain sensor, a blood glucose meter, a digital thermometer, pulse oximeters, smart inhalers, etc the tools which had helped patients receive better medical treatment.

Effects of Medical technology:

Medical technology, nevertheless, can potentially cause issues for the patient like:

1. Impersonal treatment: When a healthcare professional uses technology too frequently, they could spend less time getting to know the patient as a person and more time dealing with the equipment.

2. Harmful health impacts: Surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy are a few examples of treatments that might be advantageous but also have risks.

3. Higher expenditures: Due to the research and marketing required to bring new technologies to market and to generate a profit for their creators and manufacturers, they may result in increased patient costs.

4. Potential for overuse: The use of a technology or new product by a medical professional may be encouraged by the manufacturer, regardless of whether it is in the patient's best interest.

5. Privacy violation: Electronic medical records (EMR), for example, collect and manage patient information. This new technology is convenient, but it also has the potential to be misused, compromising patient privacy and personal data.

Why cant (NaCl) light the bulb until the NaCl is dissolved in water. *
Aneli [31]

Answer:

NaCl will only conduct electricity in solutions

Explanation:

For electrical conduction, free mobile electrons as seen in most metals must be present or ions which are charged particles must be available for solutions and molten substances.

  • Sodium chloride is an ionic compound without free mobile electrons or ions despite being ionic.
  • It will maintain a subtle and unique charge stability when in solid form.
  • In solid, the ions are not free to move and remain locked up in the solid mass.
  • When introduced into a solution, the ions becomes free to move and this will aid electrical conduction.

Determine the volume of atmospheric air (at 14 lb/in.^2) needed to fill your bike tires (assuming it holds 500 mL of air) to the
Fiesta28 [93]

Boyle Law says “the pressure of fixed amount of ideal gas which is at constant temperature is inversely proportional to its volume".

P = 1/V

Where, P is pressure of the ideal gas and V is volume of the ideal gas.

For two situations, this law can be added as;
P₁V₁ = P₂V₂

14 lb/in² x V₁ = 70 lb/in² x 500 mL
                 V₁ = 2500 mL

Hence, the needed volume of atmospheric air = 2500 mL

Here, we made two assumptions. They are,
1. The atmospheric air acts as ideal gas.
2. Temperature is a constant.

We didn't convert the units to SI units since converting volume and pressure are products of two numbers, they will cut off.
