When the Sun's rays hit Earth at greater angles, their courses are shorter; when they hit Earth at lower angles, their trajectories are longer.

What is Solar Radiation?

A fraction of the electromagnetic energy emitted by the sun, including infrared, visible, and ultraviolet light, is known as sunlight. When the Sun is above the horizon, sunlight on Earth is seen as daylight after being dispersed and filtered by the atmosphere.

UV, visible (PAR), and infrared are the three important bands, or ranges, of the sun energy spectrum. Infrared radiation accounts for 49.4% of the light that reaches the surface of the Earth, whereas visible light accounts for 42.3% . Just over 8% of the total solar energy is made up of ultraviolet light.

At what distance will a 80 W lightbulb have the same apparent brightness as a 120 W bulb viewed from a distance of 40 m
liq [111]

Answer:

32.6mm

Explanation:

Using area of a sphere(bulb) = 4πr²

So A is proportional to radius²

So the Energy will be proportional to r²

But 120/80 = 1.5 is the energy factor so

Using

1.5/d² = 1/r²

1.5/40²= 1/r^2

r = √( 40²/ 1.5)

r = 32.6m

You throw a ball with a speed of 25.0 m/s at an angle of 40.0â—¦ above the horizontal directly toward a wall. The wall is 22.0 m
kirza4 [7]
The horizontal speed is going to be the cosine of the given speed, therefore, the horizontal speed is 19.15 m/s. To find the time, divide the 22 m distance by the velocity. This results in 1.131 seconds, which is in between C and D.
