The different types of radiation are defined by the the amount of energy found in the photons. X-Ray photons will have greater frequency than microwaves but microwaves will have greater wavelength.

There are seven regions in the electromagnetic spectrum which in order of lowest to highest frequency are: Radio waves, microwaves, infrared, visible light, ultraviolet, X-rays and gamma rays. Wavelength is inversely proportional to frequency, therefore radio waves have the longest wavelength and gamma rays have the shortest. that is why X-Ray machine photons have greater frequency and shorter wavelength while microwave photons have lower frequency but higher wavelength.

Answer:

A fire hose must be able to shoot water to the top of a building 35.0 m tall ... Water enters this hose at a steady rate of 0.500 m3/s and shoots out of a round nozzle. ... I know that Flow rate=0.500 m3/s=A*V. I know the pressure needed to ... The first equation has no potential while the second has no kinetic.

The earth tilt about 23 degrees which leads to the formation of seasons on earth.

<h3>At what degree the earth tilt?</h3>

This is tilted at 23 degrees from the vertical. The northern hemisphere is in the winter season.

This is the path as the earth revolves around the sun. It takes 1 year to complete this path.

This is the path as the earth rotates around its.

So we can conclude that the earth tilt about 23 degrees which leads to the formation of seasons on earth.

The critical angle for a special type of glass in air is 30.8 ◦ . the index of refraction for water is 1.33. what is the critica
Alina [70]
When light moves from a medium with higher refractive index to a medium with lower refractive index, the critical angle is the angle above which there is no refracted light, and all the light is reflected. The value of this angle is given by
\theta_c = \arcsin ( \frac{n_2}{n_1} )
where n2 and n1 are the refractive indices of the second and first medium, respectively.

In the first part of the problem, light moves from glass to air (n_a=1.00) and the critical angle is \theta_c = 30.8^{\circ}. This means that we can find the refractive index of glass by re-arranging the previous formula:
n_g=n_1 =  \frac{n_2}{\sin \theta_c}= \frac{1.00}{\sin 30.8^{\circ}}=1.95

Now the glass is put into water, whose refractive index is n_w = 1.33. If light moves from glass to water, the new critical angle will be
\theta_c = \arcsin ( \frac{n_2}{n_1} )=\arcsin( \frac{n_w}{n_g} )=\arcsin( \frac{1.33}{1.95} )=\arcsin(0.68)=43.0^{\circ}

In an oscillating LC circuit, L = 4.24 mH and C = 3.02 μF. At t = 0 the charge on the capacitor is zero and the current is 2.38
Ann [662]

Answer:

a) 2.693*10^-4 C

b) 8.875*10^-5 s

c) 2.96 W

Explanation:

Given that

Inductance of the circuit, L = 4.24 mH

Capacitance of the circuit, C = 3.02 μF

Current in the circuit, I = 2.38 A
