Increased temperature may result from a loss of sodium .

Sodium is a macronutrient . it is considered as beneficial element .

Sodium occurs naturally in most of the foods .the common form of sodium is sodium chloride which is known as table salt ,almost available in every foods . We take it regularly .milk , beets and celery are source of sodium ,they naturally contain sodium .

some of the form of sodium are monosodium glutamate , baking soda and sodium benzoate . processed meats like sausage , ham canned soups and vegetables also contains sodium .even fast food is the high source of sodium .

The sodium content in the body decreases if we take too much amount of water . because we loss sodium through sweat . drinking too much water cause overwhelming the kidney's ability to excrete water .

<h3>symptoms of sodium loss :</h3>

the symptoms include dizziness , fatigue , lethargy , thirst , headache , insufficient urine production , nausea . hyponatremia is the most common electrolyte disorder .

The human body requires small amount of sodium per day to conduct nerve impulse , relax muscles , maintain proper balance of water and minerals . body uses sodium to control blood pressure and volume .
