The molarity of 10% CaCl2 is 0.9%

concentration of the given salt CaCl₂ = 10%

Density of a solution = 1.0835 g/cm³

Volume = m / d

= 100 / 1.0835

= 92.29 litres

Density = mass / volume

1.0835 × 92.29 = mass

mass = 99.99 gram

Thus the molarity can be calculated by = moles of solute / volume of solution multiplied by 100

= 0.9008/ 92.29 X 100 %

= 0.009 X 100 %

= 0.9 %

The molarity of 10% CaCl2 is 0.9%

Electric field lines show the strength and _____ of an electric field.
Gwar [14]
So we want to know what do electric field lines show except strength of the electric field. Electric field lines are lines that show us the field strength and the DIRECTION of the electric field. If the lines point away from the charge that is producing the lines, the charge is positive, and if the lines point towards the charge that is producing them that charge is negative.

If light moves from left to right along the x-axis, then the electric field line vibrates along what?? :(
sasho [114]
All you can say about it is that it then vibrates perpendicular to the x-axis. But that could be up and down parallel to the y-axis, in and out parallel to the z-axis, or some of it in every possible direction perpendicular to the x-axis. We "polarize" the light when we want to pick out only one perpendicular direction and stop all the others.

Eac of the two Straight Parallel Lines Each of two very long, straight, parallel lines carries a positive charge of 24.00 m C/m.
Cloud [144]

Answer:

The magnitude of the electric field at a point equidistant from the lines is 4.08\times10^{5}\ N/C

Explanation:

Given that,

Positive charge = 24.00  μC/m

Distance = 4.10 m

We need to calculate the angle

Using formula of angle

\theta=\sin^{-1}(\dfrac{\dfrac{d}{2}}{2d})

\theta=\sin^{-1}(\dfrac{1}{4})

\theta=14.47^{\circ}

We need to calculate the magnitude of the electric field at a point equidistant from the lines

Using formula of electric field

E=\dfrac{2k\lambda}{r}\times2\cos\theat

Put the value into the formula

E=\dfrac{2\times9\times10^{9}\times24.00\times2\times10^{-6}\cos14.47}{2.05}

E=408094.00\ N/C

E=4.08\times10^{5}\ N/C

Hence, The magnitude of the electric field at a point equidistant from the lines is 4.08\times10^{5}\ N/C

Evaporating water produces gaseous water. What has occurred during this process?
Katyanochek1 [597]

Answer:

Heat has accelerated water atoms enough to break the surface tension which leads the liquid to turn into a gas

Explanation:

The state of a substance depends on the distribution of its atoms, therefore any atmosphere change (in this case heat) enough to change the atoms Distribution results in a change of state.
