The molarity of 10% CaCl2 is 0.9%

concentration of the given salt CaCl₂ = 10%

Density of a solution = 1.0835 g/cm³

Volume = m / d

= 100 / 1.0835

= 92.29 litres

Density = mass / volume

1.0835 × 92.29 = mass

mass = 99.99 gram

Thus the molarity can be calculated by = moles of solute / volume of solution multiplied by 100

= 0.9008/ 92.29 X 100 %

= 0.009 X 100 %

= 0.9 %

The molarity of 10% CaCl2 is 0.9%

A sealed beaker of what you are told is aqueous nickel sulfide was given to you by the local chemist and you put it on the windo
Masteriza [31]

Answer: D. It is a SUSPENSION

Explanation:

SUSPENSION

This is a combination of two or more single substances. The properties of the components involved are not however changed or lost as is the case with compounds.

For this reason this mixture can be separated due to sedimentation or filtering.

After a few days, this occurs in the aqueous nickel sulfide because the solid nickel sulfide is separating from the water.

A 4 kg particle moves at a constant speed of 2.5 m/s around acircle of radius 2 m. What is its angular momentum about the center
blagie [28]

Explanation:

Given that,

Mass of the particle, m = 4 kg

Speed of the particle, v = 2.5 m/s

The radius of the circle, r = 2 m

We need to find the angular momentum about the center of the circle. The formula for the angular momentum is given by :

L=mvr

Substitute all the values,

L=4\times 2.5\times 2\\\\L=20\ kg{\cdot}m^2s

So, the angular momentum of the particle is 20 kg-m² s.
