Answer:

This new temperature is 97.7 mL

Explanation:

Step 1: Data given

Volume = 0.225 L

STP = 1 atm and 273 K

Pressure = 2.7 atm

Temperature = 320 K

Step 2: Calculate new volume

(P1*V1)/T1 = (P2*V2)/T2

⇒with  P1 = the pressure at STP = 1 atm

⇒with V1 = the volume = 0.225 L

⇒with T1 = the temperature at STP = 273 K

⇒with P2 = the new pressure = 2.7 atm

⇒with V2 = the new volume  = TO BE DETERMINED

⇒with T2 = the new temperature = 320 K

(1atm *0.225 L)/273 K = (2.7 atm * V2) /320 K

8.24 * 10^-4 = 2.7 * V2 / 320K

2.7V2 = 0.264

V2 = 0.0977 L = 97.7 mL

This new temperature is 97.7 mL

Answer:

A concentrated acid is an acid which is in either pure form or has a high concentration. Laboratory type sulfuric acid (about 98% by weight) is a concentrated (and strong) acid. A dilute acid is that in which the concentration of the water mixed in the acid is higher than the concentration of the acid itself.

Explanation:

Concentrated acid - Those acids which are pure or have very high concentration in water are called as concentrated acids. For example concentrated Hydrochloric acid (HCl) and concentrated Sulphuric acid are examples of concentrated acids.

What is the iodine test?
wariber [46]
is used to test for the presence of starch. Starch turns into an intense "blue-black" colour upon addition of aqueous solutions of the triiodide anion, due to the formation of an intermolecular charge-transfer complex. In the absence of starch, the brown color of the aqueous solution remains.
