When one body(sun) exerts a force on a second body(planet), the second body simultaneously exerts a force equal in magnitude and opposite in direction of the first body. Which makes the planet orbit in path C.

Hope this helps!!

Thoughts about Genetically Modified Crops
Alex787 [66]
I think that GMOs, also known as genetically modified crops or organisms, can be used in good and bad ways. They can provide crops to survive longer, and produce a bigger portion. However, on the other side of that, it is claimed that it creates a large amount of greenhouse gas emissions, which can turn into climate change.

What is the sun's right ascension on the first day of winter?
Savatey [412]
From the point of view of the northern hemisphere:

The sun starts out the year at the Spring equinox, March 21,
Right Ascension 0, Declination 0.

3 months later, Summer solstice, June 21
RA = 6 hours, Dec. = +23.5°

3 months later, Fall equinox, September 21,
RA = 12 hours, Dec. = 0

3 months later, Winter solstice, December 21,
RA = 18 hours, Dec. = -23.5°

How could you increase the gravitational potential energy between yourself and Earth?
Tamiku [17]
Gravitational Potential Energy, GPE = mgh

Where m is your mass in kg, g is acceleration due to gravity = 9.8 m/s², and h is the height in m.

The only value that be controlled here is the height h. The mass is constant, and acceleration due to gravity at that place is constant.

But h can be varied.

Hence to increase the gravitational potential energy between yourself and Earth is to increase the height h.

This can be done by climbing up a table, or climbing up a building through the stairs, or by using a lift.

We repeat the experiment from the video, but this time we connect the wires in parallel rather than in series. Which wire will n
Fed [463]

Answer: B. The copper wire (resistance 0.1)

Explanation: When resistance is in parallel, voltage (V) is the same but current is different for every resistance. Current (i) is related to voltage and resistance (R) by Ohm's Law

i = \frac{V}{R}

So, since both wires are in parallel, they have the same voltage but because the copper wire resistance is smaller than Nichrome wire, the first's current will be bigger.

Every resistor in a circuit dissipates electrical power (P) that is converted into heat energy. The dissipation can be found by:

P = i^{2}*R

As current for copper wire is bigger than nichrome, power will be bigger and it will dissipate more heat.

In conclusion, the copper wire will dissipate more heat when connected in parallel.
