For speed of sound of c=340m/s:
f'=f((c+Vr)/(c+Vs)) where Vr is speed of receiver (+ if moving towards source) and Vs is speed of source (+ if moving away from receiver)
So A) 596Hz
B) 275Hz

When a sinusoidal wave with speed 20 m/s , wavelength 35 cm and amplitude of 1.0 cm passes, what is the maximum speed of a point
vova2212 [387]

To solve this problem it is necessary to apply the concepts related to frequency as a function of speed and wavelength as well as the kinematic equations of simple harmonic motion

From the definition we know that the frequency can be expressed as

f = \frac{v}{\lambda}

Where,

v = Velocity \rightarrow 20m/s

\lambda = Wavelength \rightarrow 35*10^{-2}m

Therefore the frequency would be given as

f = \frac{20}{35*10^{-2}}

f = 57.14Hz

The frequency is directly proportional to the angular velocity therefore

\omega = 2\pi f

\omega = 2\pi *57.14

\omega = 359.03rad/s

Now the maximum speed from the simple harmonic movement is given by

V_{max} = A\omega

Where

A = Amplitude

Then replacing,

V_{max} = (1*10^{-2})(359.03)

V_{max} = 3.59m/s

Therefore the maximum speed of a point on the string is 3.59m/s

How are longitudinal and transverse waves different?
Natalija [7]

Answer:

A longitudinal wave is a wave where the movement of the medium is in the same direction as the wave. On the other hand, a transverse wave is a wave where the movement of the medium is at a right angle to the wave direction.

_____ has the potential to superimpose digital data over real photos so that GPS maps can be combined with real pictures of stor
IRISSAK [1]

<u>Augmented reality</u> has the potential to superimpose digital data over real photos so that GPS maps can be combined with real pictures of stores and streets to help people locate their position.

<u>Explanation:</u>

An engaging perception of an original globe atmosphere, where by computer-generated perceptual knowledge the transformation of real-world entities take place and also by multiple sensory modalities, involving somatosensory, visual, auditory, haptic and olfactory forms, thus known as augmented reality.

AR app uses GPS and camera from a smartphone to deploy an augmented reality-enabled GPS navigation system. As in the web, AR tool termed as Real View Navigation is accessible to all Android and iOS clients. Google is brought its first virtual reality walking directions, now recognized as Live Experience on Google Maps.

Ls -2 a solution of 4x +3= -5?.<br>
torisob [31]

Answer:

yes

Explanation:

Let's solve your equation step-by-step.

4x+3=−5

Step 1: Subtract 3 from both sides.

4x+3−3=−5−3

4x=−8

Step 2: Divide both sides by 4.

4x  / 4  =  −8  / 4

x=−2
