Explanation:

momentum = mass x velocity

initial momentum = 100 x 15 = 1500kgm/s

after momentum = 100 x 20 = 2000kgm/s

a =(v-u)/t

a = (20-15)/10

a = 5/10

a = 0.5m/s²

f = ma

f = 100 x 0.5

f = 50N

A curved line going up indicates the object is
Vesna [10]

Explanation:

Both graphs show plotted points forming a curved line. Curved lines have changing slope; they may start with a very small slope and begin curving sharply (either upwards or downwards) towards a large slope. In either case, the curved line of changing slope is a sign of accelerated motion (i.e., changing velocity).

At the end of a race a runner decelerates from a velocity of 8.90 m/s at a rate of 1.70 m/s2. (a) How far in meters does she tra
Ad libitum [116K]

Answer:

x=22.33m

Explanation:

Kinematics equation for constant deceleration:

x =v_{o}*t - 1/2*at^{2}=8.9*6.3-1/2*1.70*6.3^{2}=22.33m
