Explanation:

momentum = mass x velocity

initial momentum = 100 x 15 = 1500kgm/s

after momentum = 100 x 20 = 2000kgm/s

a =(v-u)/t

a = (20-15)/10

a = 5/10

a = 0.5m/s²

f = ma

f = 100 x 0.5

f = 50N

an object is moving with a speed of 35 m/s and has a kinetic energy of 1500 J, what is the mass of the object?
Elena-2011 [213]
You'd use the equation kinetic energy=mass*0.5*speed^2
So you'd rearrange this to get mass =kinetic energy /0.5 *speed^2
Which is mass= 1500J/0.5*35^2
=2.44897959183673469........kg

Consider an electromagnetic wave propagating through a region of empty space. How is the energy density of the wave partitioned
Zepler [3.9K]

Answer:

Option (2) is correct.

The energy density of an electromagnetic wave is equally divided between the magnetic and electric fields.

Explanation:

An electromagnetic waves are the waves which are produced when the oscillating electric and magnetic field are interact each other perpendicular to each other. The direction of propagation of electro magnetic waves is perpendicular to each electric and magnetic fields.

The energy associated with the electromagnetic waves is equally distributed in form of electric and magnetic fields.

So, the correct option is (2).

Which statement best describes why electrons are typically not included when determining the mass of an atom?
Ede4ka [16]
The protons and neutrons are much more massive than the electrons.

The electrons are simply too small to really change the mass, so they aren't counted.
