An artist wants to create a metal sculpture using a mold so that his artwork can be readily mass produced. He wants his sculptur
lukranit [14]

Answer:NO

Explanation:

No the mold should not be of the same size as that of sculpture because the material from which molds is made may shrink or expand depending upon its properties .

For example grey cast iron shrinks on cooling.

We need to make mold bigger in general so that if there is a need of finishing it can be done easily without altering the size of sculpture.

A man drops a rock into a well. (a) the man hears the sound of the splash 2.40 s after he releases the rock from rest. the speed
Burka [1]
Part (a)
Let h = depth of water surface from the top of the well, m

Because the stone is dropped, its initial velocity is zero.
Let t₁ = time for the stone to drop, s
Then
h = (1/2)*(9.8 m/s²)*(t₁ s)²
t₁ = √(h/4.9) s = 0.4518√h s

The velocity of sound is 336 m/s.
The time for the sound wave to travel from the water surface to the top of the well is
t₂ = h/336 m/s

Because the time before the sound is heard is 2.4 s, therefore
t₁ + t₂ = 2.4
0.45181√h + h/336 = 2.4
Multiply through by 336.
151.8082√h + h = 806.4
h - 806.4 = -151.8082√h
h² - 1612.8h + 6.5028 x 10⁵ = 2.3046 x 10⁴h
h² - 2.4659 x 10⁴h + 6.5028 x 10⁵ = 0

Solve with the quadratic formula.
h = 0.5[2.4659 x 10⁴ +/- 2.4606 x 10⁴]
 = 24632 m or 26.5 m

Test the two answers.
When h = 24632,
 t₁ = 0.4518√(24632) = 70.9 s (Not acceptable)
When h = 26.5 m,
 t₁ = 0.4518√(26.5) = 2.3258 s, t₂ = 26.5/336 = 0.0789 s,
 t₁+t₂ = 2.4 s (CORRECT)

Answer: h = 26.5 m

Part (b)
If travel time for the sound is ignored, then
0.4518√h = 2.4
h = (2.4/0.45118)² = 28.2 m
The percent error is 100*[(28.2 - 26.5)/26.5] = 6.42%

Answer: The error is 6.4%

Create a chart that describes the disease of the species you have chosen. Include a description of the causes, risk factors, sym
deff fn [24]

The specie I have chosen is goat. The description is given below

The common diseases of goats?

The Diseases of Goats are

 • Rabies
 • Contagious Ecthyma
 • Ringworm
 • Anthrax
 • Tetanus,
 • salmonellosis, etc.

Among the disease, the one i will emphasize on is Rabies.

The causes of rabies in goat: This is due to a goat been infected from a bite gotten from another infected animals.

The risk factor of rabies in goat: risk factor of rabies in goat is that the animal may or will looks ill or displays some kind of abnormal behavior.

The symptoms of rabies in goat: The Symptoms in goats when they have rabies is aggressive behavior, bleating too often, and salivation, depression, weakness, and others.

The treatment of Rabies: There is no commercial vaccines that has been approved for use in goats, but vaccination is said to be the right recommendation and it is the one that most veterinarians for rabies use to prevent rabies on goats.

What is the prognosis of rabies?

The cases of Rabies attack is said to be very fatal in a lot of cases, and usually occur within 3-10 days after the symptoms has appeared. The right and proper measures should be taken before and after the goat is bitten or attacked, this rabies attack in goat can be prevented in a lot of cases.

The ways farmer or rancher should keep healthy herd or flock healthy are:

 1. Always keep a hygienic environment that is cleaned daily.
 2. Do make sure that there one is following the right stocking density.
 3. Do Clean and also disinfect areas of the house that is contaminated.
 4. Daily try and empty and also clean the feeders and water troughs.
 5. Do stop or avoid carrying or bringing in new disease by using biosecurity measures.
 6. Do hinder animals getting sick by trying to optimize husbandry and management on the farm.
 7. Create a kind of health plan for the animals with your vet where there is a vaccination protocols when necessary.
 8. Always engage in constant animal disease testing.
 9. Observe, diagnose and treat any sick or infected animals in the right way.
 10. Do Isolate or remove infected and sick animals from the group of animals.
 11. Always employ the use of clean and disinfected equipment.
 12. Do use different equipment for any group of animals.
