The main offenders in terms of greenhouse gas emissions are Asia and Oceania.

<h3>Explanation</h3>

Greenhouse gases cause the greenhouse effect. The primary greenhouse gases in Earth's atmosphere are water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and ozone.

Asia is Earth's largest and most populous continent, located primarily in the Eastern and Northern Hemispheres. Whereas Oceania is a geographic region that includes Australasia, Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia.

Asia includes: Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Mongolia, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. Asia has three main financial centers: Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore.

Oceania countries are: Australia, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, New Zealand, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu

Currently, most of factories that exist in the world are established within Asian and Oceanian region because they have good supply of cheap labours. For example, China was initially one of the lowest labour cost countries known.  They produce the largest amount of pollutant which contain CO2 that contributed greatly to the greenhouse effects.

Hope it helps

The main offenders of greenhouse gas emissions are \boxed{{\text{C}}{{\text{O}}_{\text{2}}}{\text{, C}}{{\text{H}}_4}{\text{, }}{{\text{O}}_{\text{3}}}{\text{, }}{{\text{N}}_{\text{2}}}{\text{O, CFCs, HCFCs}}}  and the offenders in terms of countries are \boxed{{\text{China, United States, India,}}\;{\text{Russia, Brazil, Germany, United Kingdom}}}

Further explanation:

Greenhouse Effect:

It is the process in which radiations are absorbed by some gases present in the atmosphere and are not reflected back into space. This results in the insulation of the earth’s surface and prevents it from freezing.

During the day, the earth’s atmosphere gets heated up due to the heat of the sun. But at night, earth surface cools down and heat is emitted back into the atmosphere. During this complete process, some heat is also absorbed by greenhouse gases present in the earth’s atmosphere. This leads to increase in temperature of earth to a very high level that causes several devastating effects.

Causes of greenhouse effect:

1. Deforestation

2. Burning of fossil fuels

3. Industrial waste and landfills

4. Increased use of chemical fertilizers

5. Greenhouse gases

Greenhouse gases:

These are the gases that absorb and emit infrared radiations in the wavelength range that is emitted by the earth. Major greenhouse gases are as follows:

• Carbon dioxide  \left({{\text{C}}{{\text{O}}_{\text{2}}}}\right)

• Ozone \left({{{\text{O}}_{\text{3}}}}\right)

• Methane \left({{\text{C}}{{\text{H}}_{\text{4}}}}\right)

• Nitrous oxide \left({{{\text{N}}_{\text{2}}}{\text{O}}}\right)

• Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs)

• Hydrofluorocarbons (HCFCs)

• Water vapors \left({{{\text{H}}_{\text{2}}}{\text{O}}}\right)

Consequences of greenhouse effect on the environment:

1. Global warming

2. Ozone layer depletion

3. Air pollution

4. Acidification of water bodies

China, the United States, Russia, Brazil, India, Germany, and the United Kingdom are the major contributors to greenhouse gas emissions. All these countries are collectively responsible for more than 60 % of total global warming prevalent on the earth.

Say you dropped a cannonball from the 17.0–meter mast of a ship sailing at 2.0 meters/second. How far from the base of the mast
Mice21 [21]

The correct choice is A. 0 meters.

If you simply dropped the cannonball and didn't throw it horizontally,

then it'll fall straight down the mast and land on the deck right next to

the mast.

While you were up there holding it, before you dropped it, the cannonball

was moving horizontally, at 2.0 meters/second, along with the rest of the

ship and everything else aboard. It continued doing that after it dropped,

and from the point of view (in the reference frame) of the mast and everyone

on the ship, it fell straight down, parallel to the mast.

Now that we have that question answered, we can proceed to the more-

important ones. I answered the easy one, but YOU'll have to answer these:

==> WHY did you climb the mast carrying a cannonball ?

Have you been drinking sea water or bad rum ?

==> WHY did you drop it, and never even yell "LOOK OUT BELOW !" ?

==> How many formerly-able-bodied souls were injured by the

plummeting cannonball ?

==> What did everybody ELSE yell after the impact ?

==> What did they do to you after they brought you down ?

You could use newton’s second law to calculate the force applied to an object if you knew the objects mass and its _____.
olga2289 [7]

Answer:

You could use newton’s second law to calculate the force applied to an object if you knew the objects mass and its <u>acceleration.</u>

Explanation:

By, Newtons second law, the force applied on an object directly varies with the acceleration caused and the mass of the object.

This is given by :

F=m\ a

Where F represents force applied on the object , m represents mass of the object and a represents the acceleration.

In order to calculate force applied on object we require the mass of the object and its acceleration. The force can be calculated by finding the product of mass and acceleration of the object.
