Answer:

Explanation:   A. a bowl of pudding will be solid and  B. a bucketful of sand will be solid because the particles of the solid will be in arranged in a rigid manner. Particles are closely packed together .

They does not change their shape and volume as their particles are tightly held to each other through strong bonding and strong forces of attraction.

They changes their shape on liquid when the temperature is raised and the energy of the particles increases and thus liquid can change into gas by further increment of the temperature.

A pudding would be considered as solid since the molecules are in an ordered state and they are close to each other which gives definite shape and volume for the pudding. This is also true for the bucketful of sand. Hope this answers the question.

A plane has a cruising speed of 100 miles per hour when there is no wind. At this speed, the plane flew 600 miles with the wind
alina1380 [7]
The solution for this problem is:
Let x = speed of wind

Speed of plane with the wind = x + 100

Speed of plane against the wind = 100 -x

 We will be using the formula for distance which is (Rate)(Time), getting the formula for time would be distance/rate Time to travel 600 miles with the wind = Time to travel 400 miles against the wind 600/(x + 100) = 400/(100 - x)

 400(x + 100) = 600(100 - x)

 400x + 40000 = 60000 - 600x

 1000x = 20000

x = 20000/1000

 x = 20 mph

32. In general, ionization energy increases from left to right across a given
miskamm [114]
Aluminum's outer electron in 3p-orbital is slightly further from the nucleus and protected by 3s-orbital. This causes it to need less energy. Magnesium's outer electron is closer and not protected by an outer orbital.
Hope This Helps and Ged Bless!
