The three earth spheres which interact in this process are THE ATMOSPHERE, THE HYDROSPHERE AND THE BIOSPHERE.
The increase in the green house gases is destroying the ozone layers of the atmosphere, this makes it possible for more ultraviolet rays to penetrate through the atmosphere unto the earth surface. The increased temperature provided by these rays is warming up the oceans and this in turn is affecting the animals and the plants that reside in the oceans and those that depend on them. These chains of activities is changing the climate of the world and is affecting all the living things that live on the earth surface.

How much water will flow in 30 secs through 200 mm of capillary tube of 1.50 mm in diameter, if the pressure difference across t
Paladinen [302]

The water outflow in 30 secs through 200 mm of the capillary tube is mathematically given as

Qo=1.6 \times 10^{2} \mathrm{~mL}

<h3>What is the water outflow in 30 secs through 200 mm of the capillary tube?</h3>

\begin{aligned}\Delta P &=6660 \mathrm{~m} / \mathrm{m}^{2} \\\mu &=8.01 \times 10^{-4} \text { Pas } \\t &=30 \mathrm{~s} \\L &=200 \mathrm{~mm}=200 \times 10^{-3} \mathrm{~m} \\D &=1.5 \mathrm{~mm}=1.5 \times 10^{-3} \mathrm{~m} \Rightarrow \gamma=\frac{1.5 \times 10^{-3}}{2} \mathrm{~m}\end{aligned}

Generally, the equation for Rate of flow of Liquid is  mathematically given as

\\$$Q=\frac{\pi r^{4} \times \Delta P}{8 \mu L}

$$

Where dP is pressure difference r is the radius

\mu is the viscosity of water

L is the length of the pipe

Q=\frac{\pi \times\left(\frac{1.5 \times 10^{-3}}{2}\right)^{4} \times 6660}{8 \times 8.01 \times 10^{-4} \times 200 \times 10^{-3}}

Q=5.2 \mathrm{~mL} / \mathrm{s}

In $30s the quantity that flows out of the tube

&Qo=5.2 \times 30 \\&Qo=1.6 \times 10^{2} \mathrm{~mL}

In conclusion, the quantity that flows out of the tube

Qo=1.6 \times 10^{2} \mathrm{~mL}

A 56.6-kg crate rests on a level floor at a shipping dock. The coefficients of static and kinetic friction are 0.517 and 0.260,
kifflom [539]

Answer:

Explanation:

Magnitude of frictional force = μ mg

μ is either static or kinetic friction.

To start the crate moving , static friction is calculated .

a ) To start crate moving , force required = μ mg where μ is coefficient of static friction .

force required =.517 x 56.6  x 9.8 = 286.76  N .

b ) to  slide the crate across the dock at a constant speed , force required

= μ mg where μ is coefficient of kinetic  friction , where μ is kinetic friction

= .26 x 56.6  x 9.8 = 144.21 N .

Why do surface winds tend to cross the isobars?
scZoUnD [109]
Geostrophic winds blows parallel to the isobars. That is because the Coriolis force and pressure gradient force ( PGF ) are in balance. But near the surface the friction can act to change the direction of the wind and to slow it down. Coriolis force decreases at the surface and PGF stays the same. The difference in terrain conditions affects how much friction is exerted. Hills and forests force the wind to change direction more than flat areas. Answer: Friction reduces the speed so Coriolis is weakened.

A bobsled team accelerates the sled to go to 150 m/s in 3 seconds from rest.(a)What is the
Sergeeva-Olga [200]

Answer:

Explanation:

From the equation of Newton's laws of motion

v = u + at where v is final velocity , u is initial velocity and t is time.

150 = 0 + a x 3

a = 50 m / s ²

s = ut + 1/2 at²  ; s is distance travelled

s = 50 x 3 + .5 x 50 x 3²

= 150 + 225

= 375 m .
