Acceleration = (final velocity - initial velocity) / time
Acceleration = 20 - 0 / 3.5
= 5.714 m/s^2

Hope it helped!

Answer:

Explanation:

It is given that, the velocity of a ball as it is thrown up is 20 meters/second. It attains zero velocity after 3.5 seconds.

i.e. The initial velocity of the ball is, u = 20 m/s

Final velocity of the ball is, v =0

Time taken, t =3.5 s

The rate of change of velocity w.r.t time is called the acceleration of the ball.

So, a=\dfrac{v-u}{t}

a=\dfrac{0-20}{3.5}

a=-5. 71\ m/s^2

Hence, the average acceleration of the ball during its upward flight is a=-5. 71\ m/s^2.

kifflom [539]

Answer:

x_{distance}=10.07km

Explanation:

Given data

time=0.530 h

Average velocity Vavg=19.0 km/s

To find

Displacement Δx

Solution

The Formula for average velocity is given as

V_{avg}=(x_{distance} )/(t_{time} )\\ x_{distance}=V_{avg}*(t_{time} )\\x_{distance}=(19.0km/h)*(0.530h)\\x_{distance}=10.07km

Answer:

C)focusing on one goal at a time

Explanation:

Self-modification programs could be regarded as a program that help individual in managing unwanted as well as dysfunctional behavioral responses whenever they are going through a problem and try to deal with it. For instance the dysfunctional behavioral response for someone with a panic attack is avoidance. Some of the the steps that are involved in in a self-modification program are;
