Generally, whenever an object is charged via friction, such as in the case of a comb, it gathers a negative charge because the rubbing brings forth electrons. If the charge is induced using another already charged object, then the charge is positive. If it is positively charged, it will attract the negative charge and cause the leaves to repel.

The space shuttle travels at a speed of about 7.6times10^3 m/s. The blink of an astronaut's eye lasts about 110 ms. How many foo
sveta [45]

Answer:

It covers distance of 9.15 football fields in the said time.

Explanation:

We know that

Distance=Speed\times Time

Thus distance covered in blinking of eye =

Distance=7.6\times 10^{3}m/s\times 110\times 10^{-3}s\\\\Distance=836 meters

Thus no of football fields=\frac{936}{91.4}=9.15Fields

zlopas [31]

Answer: C

Explanation: Side post terminals need to be removed to inspect them for corrosion.

Over tightening the terminal bolt can damage side post terminals.

The battery terminals and cable ends can corrode especially when the battery or car is not used for a long period of time. Corrosion limits a battery's lifespan and so should be prevented. To inspect the areas where corrosion occur on a side-post battery, you need to remove the terminals.

Also, it is true that over tightening the terminal bolt can damage the side post terminals. The covering on the battery can become twisted, and make the seals on the terminals leak.

The air is soundproof??
Svet_ta [14]
Not possible. The air is actually able to travel sound throughout itself without any difficulties. I believe, air actually brings sound closer to the people farther away ; It really helps to stretch sound.
