Assume after recording the mass of KHP on the weigh paper it was not completely transferred into the Flask. Your following titra

tion was completed correctly. Would your experimental value for concentration of NaOH be too high, too low, or unchanged as compared to the true value? Explain

Answer:

unchanged

Explanation:

KHP is potassium hydrogen phthalate. It is a weak acid. It forms a colourless ionic weakly acidic solution which can be titrated against NaOH to determine the concentration of a sodium hydroxide solution. KHP is used as a primary standard. Its concentration depends on the mass of solid added and the volume of solution.

If all the KHP was not transferred into the flask, the experimental value of the concentration of NaOH remains unchanged as long as the titration was carried out correctly and following normal procedure. Only the concentration of the KHP will be affected by this error during calculation.

Water electrolysis of hcl ? Please
svp [43]

Answer:

Electrolysis (of hydrochloric acid) is a way of splitting up (decomposition) of the compound (hydrogen chloride in water) using electrical energy.

Explanation:

The electrical energy comes from a d.c. (direct current) battery or power pack supply. A conducting liquid, containing ions, called the electrolyte (hydrochloric acid), must contain the compound (hydrogen chloride) that is being broken down.

Why does water flow decrease in your shower when someone flushes the toilet
Rashid [163]

Answer:

A toilet requires a large amount of cold water to flush. So, when the toilet flushes while you're in the shower, it's stealing from your shower's cold water supply. When the pressure-balancing valve senses the drop in cold water pressure, it responds by restricting the hot water pressure.
