Answer: Yes the statement is true.

Explanation: Endorphins are chemicals produced by the human bodies to relieve stress and pain.

They are produced mainly by brain and help to transmit electrical signals within nervous system, thus are called as neurotransmitters.

They are also called as "feel good chemicals" as they can act as pain relievers and happiness booster and thus lead to better emotional health.

Endorphins are generated in the body during exercise, which leads to better emotional health. This statement is TRUE.

Further explanation

Endorphins are chemicals produced by the body to relieve stress and pain. This chemical works similarly to a class of drugs called opioid. But because endorphins release naturally by the body it is a safer way to relieve stress and pain.

Exercise boosted mood and powerful depression fighter for several reasons. Through exercise, you are not only gain your physical fitness but it also gives you an enormous sense of well being. You feel more energetic, positive, sleep well and have better memory. Exercise can also serve as a distraction from negative thoughts and activities that feed depression.

Regular exercise is important to maintain a healthy body and mind. The recommended amount and intensity of physical activity varies according to ages and health condition. For an adult, the recommended time is 150 minutes per week for a moderate-intensity activity or 75 minutes per week for vigorous-intensity activity, or a combination of these two activities. You can break this into 25 minutes a day for 3 days a week.

A chemist divides a large sample of a mixture into three smaller portions. Each of these portions contains different ratios of t
ehidna [41]

Answer:

Heterogeneous mixture

Explanation:

 • A mixture is a substance that is made up of different components that are not chemically combined. For example, the air is a mixture containing gaseous components.
 • A pure substance, on the other hand, is a substance that contains similar particles. For example, an element is a pure substance with similar atoms and a compound is a pure substance with similar molecules.
 • A mixture may either be homogeneous or heterogeneous.
 • A homogeneous mixture contains various fractions of components in a single-phase while a heterogeneous mixture contains components in different phases and different ratios.

Write the electron configuration for Br- and state the number of valence electrons. Select one:
Aleks04 [339]

Answer:

1s^{2} 2s^{2} 2p^{6} 3s^{2} 3p^62} 4s^{2} 3d^{10} 4p^{5} with 7 valence electrons.

Explanation:

Bromine has 7 unpaired (valence) electrons in its outer shell, and a total of 35 elecrons. Its 4s orbital is completely filled with 2 electrons.

The closest answer from the options would be option D.

I hope this helps.

Blast furnaces extract pure iron from the iron(III) oxide in iron ore in a two step sequence. In the first step, carbon and oxyge
Alona [7]

Answer:

The net chemical equation for the production of iron from carbon, oxygen and iron(III) oxide:

2Fe_2O_3 (s) +6C (s) + 3O_2 (g)\rightarrow 4Fe (s) + 6CO_2 (g)

Explanation:

Step 1: Carbon and oxygen react to form carbon monoxide:

2C (s) + O_2 (g)\rightarrow 2CO (g)..[1]

Step 2: Iron(III) oxide and carbon monoxide react to form iron and carbon dioxide:

Fe_2O_3 (s) + 3CO (g)\rightarrow 2Fe (s) + 3CO_2 (g)..[2]

The net chemical equation for the production of iron from carbon, oxygen and iron(III) oxide can be obtained by :

3 × [1] + 2 × [2]

2Fe_2O_3 (s) + 6CO (g)+6C (s) + 3O_2 (g)\rightarrow 4Fe (s) + 6CO_2 (g)+6CO(g)

CO gas will gas cancel out form both sides ans we will get the net chemical equation:

2Fe_2O_3 (s) +6C (s) + 3O_2 (g)\rightarrow 4Fe (s) + 6CO_2 (g)

According to reaction, 2 moles of ferric oxide reacts with 6 moles of carbon and 3 moles of oxygen gas to give 4 moles of iron and 6 moles pf carbon dioxide gas.

On what basis can mixtures be classified as solutions suspensions or colloids
FinnZ [79.3K]

Answer:

A mixture is classified as a solution when there is an homogeneous mixture of the two or more substances involved in a given medium.

A mixture is classified as a suspension when there is a heterogeneous mixture of undissolved particles in a given medium.

A mixture is classified as a colloid (false solution) when the individual solute Particles are larger than the particles of true solution, but they are not large enough to be seen by the naked eye. The solutes can scatter light rays.

The answer is B: friction.

A definition of friction is a resistance of an object against another, for example a tire against mud, the tire would add friction against the mud to pull away from it.
